Yeah WikiLeaks! They are just helping so-called open government remain open. No need to fight about it.

That clears up one mystery. The encrypted file is just the complete version of what is being released now, and not some other, more damaging information.
Other reports say that actually he has not been charged with rape. He has been charged with "sex without a condom" and/or something called "surprise sex". As in you wake up in the morning and...surprise! Apparently "surprise sex" is a crime in only one country in the world, that of course being Sweden. The nanny state rides to the rescue of America!

Haha! Lies! Lies I say! These cables are just full of lies! The hypocratic, self-serving, imperial interests of the U.S. must be left unfettered!

If this was a movie, Assange would need a drop dead beautiful, disgraced former intelligence officer to weave through the dragnet being put forth.
I don't know if he knows this, but the info he has IS more valuable than cash - info is the currency of governments. If he needs support, a little packet of info can open some doors.
Ciao.

I am sure many women are already in love with him, beautiful and not so beautiful.

I hope this is not Japan Today IP cause if there are attacks to that address JT would go down.

Regarding Amazon, see ellsberg. net/archive/open-letter-to-amazon (remove the space after the dot) for the open letter by Daniel Ellsberg to Jeff Bezos.

The "leaks" were bad enough, but now you have governments openly attacking private companies and websites. I am surprised people consider that legal recourse.

To Kyoken,
Thanx for the IP address - I stand corrected, Wikileaks is not "a bunch of weekend hackers".
It has already enveloped the US, the Press has been "silenced" which can lead to "tyranny" - something that the American Revolution fought to eliminate. The bottom line was the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights - as many know, those rights can not be separated by any branch of government except in secrecy. The face of tyranny is rearing its ugly head here on JT at times - you can tell by the hatred behind the posts.

When my dog chows down on any food I've left out in his range, I don't get angry at him: he's just being a dog. It was my fault for leaving the food out.
Well, there are dogs, and then there are dogs. And I love dogs - all types. The dog catcher may succeed in putting away one or a few, but there are many more where those came from. Better still to let them roam and watch what you leave out.

We don't agree on much, but yeah, I have issues with how this is being handled.

Wow JT won't let you write pay (=pal). Anyway I noticed they cut off access to wikileaks for their services.
