Some JT readers might be unaware that Japanese-language Wiki is a cesspool of slander and defamatory contents, with virtually no checking or monitoring. Right-wingers go after foreign journalists whose reporting on Japan they find disagreeable. It's almost the equivalent of a blacklist, because the journalists are unable to gain access to interview subjects. And Wiki invariably ignores their complaints or pleas for fairness.
