Winners and losers in GOP's last-ditch health overhaul

So ... why send any money to D.C. just to have 20% taken out and returned to each state?

States have always been able to create their own health care systems, but didn't.

ACA is way too expensive.

I look forward to buying the coverages that my family needs again, not what someone 1,000 miles away decides we must have.

How about this: Add a provision that allows the "blue states" to band-together and have a single payer system of their own.

Then the "red states" can have a system designed by their senators.

Just like before, the losers are poor people, and democracy.
