Why so dim? I thought Trump was a deal maker? Just kidding. Hes only a trust fund baby. :3

Awesome, now we have somebody to blame if the Dow drops

So the Dems also get the credit if the Dow continues to climb. Noted.

Conservatives: Stop lying to yourselves constantly. Stop lying to everyone else constantly. Take back whatever shreds of dignity and integrity you have left and stop swallowing everything Trump puts in your mouths.

But Trump made clear that if House Democrats pursue him with investigations involving his 2016's connection to Russia or financial ethics allegations,

What's Trump hiding?

Why would any politician, especially those who claim to be patriotic flag wavers (as long as it's someone else's child doing the fighting for them and their investments) NOT want to have allegations of Trump colluding with foreign gangsters and governments investigated?

Are the politicians protecting Trump also protecting their own interests?

But Trump made clear that if House Democrats pursue him with investigations involving his 2016's connection to Russia or financial ethics allegations, he would drop his willingness to seek cooperation on legislation involving the economy or other issues.

Um, OK, but why say that? You're going to torpedo an infrastructure bill that could provide jobs to regular Americans because you are angry with Democrats investigating you? Sure, we know Trump is petty like that, but Christ, why come out and say it?

The president on Wednesday floated the possibility of agreements with Democrats to boost spending on America's infrastructure and to limit drug prices.

I have some hope for this. The Dems should work directly with Trump and bypass the GOP. He's shown that he will throw the GOP under the bus if it helps him personally and Democrats should work that angle. A bill to reduce drug prices with Trump and Pelosi smiling and the establishment GOP fuming would be a nice touch and help regular Americans, especially older ones.

The $20 trillion U.S. economy — the world's largest — relies far more on the health of the global economy and the willingness of consumers and businesses to spend rather than on any government actions.

But people on internet message boards have told me differently. Once Trump lifted Obama's stifling environmental mesaures the economy exploded. Pretty much.

Annual growth is widely expected to dip back to its long-term average near 2 percent by 2020.

Interesting, ne?

Seems both sides will do that.

He's shown that he will throw the GOP under the bus if it helps him personally and Democrats should work that angle.

And that will greatly help benefit Trump and give him a solid second term.

A bill to reduce drug prices with Trump and Pelosi smiling and the establishment GOP fuming would be a nice touch and help regular Americans, especially older ones.

The will be fuming at all the conservative judges that are being appointed in record numbers as well, so I guess it’s all a win, win for both parties.

"prospect for economic deals looks dim"

Thanks, voters. They'll see their huuuuge mistake soon enough and the Republicans will take back the House in 2020.

"So the Dems also get the credit if the Dow continues to climb. Noted."

Whatever you do, don't give Trump or the Republicans any credit. LOL

The US market won't be as strong the next 12 months, but about a year from now, all the 2020 campaign spending will force the US market up again until the Prez election, especially if the Dems spend $50M for each house seat.

At least they are doing their part to help the economy.

I don't see much happening in the way of laws for the next 2 yrs, so the Unaffordable Care Act will still be my families highest monthly bill by far and there won't be any solution to stop illegal immigration.

The swap won't be drained - old parts or the newest stuff that arrived in the last 2 yrs.

Any predictions on how many Presidential appointees quit or get fired in the next 2 yrs?
