Yes, the cartel will be invading very soon. Very soon.
Badsey
The cartel is pushing oil up to 150-200$ a barrel. -They are making a strong play on Venezuela now because of this. Need someone to blame the price rise on. -And also gives the cartel a good reason to invade.
America has plenty of oil, but most 90% of Alaska oil is exported (mostly Asia).

What is the most ironic thing in all this is that as much as Chavez yells and screams and threatens to cut oil off the oil to the USA, he can't because all the oil Venezuela sends to the USA is bought and sold through the Venezuelan state owned CITGO and they need the money to stop selling to the USA would make very little difference to the USA but would Bankrupt CITGO.

Venezuela wants our oil? Do you mean Chavez wants to take more oil from his own country and just share amongst the Chavistas? The USA wants and needs to keep the cheap oil from Venezuela flowing up north to the USA, a few years ago Chavez donated free heating oil to the poor in Boston etc..during the middle of the winter months, when will the USA ever help it's own poor?

huh that doesn't make sense.
Do you mean this could be said about the US government from the rest of the world?
MottoMatto
Hmmm, couldn't this be said about the world towards the U.S. government?
