Excuse me madam, but could please move to the mother's feeding and changing rooms that we here at Disneyland provide.
WHAT!!!! Why are you mom shamimg ME!!!
I feel completely vulnerable, totally intimidated and quite afraid.
Why do you come up to me out of the blue and make me confused?

Most moms here I noticed use some clothing contraption that covers up exposed areas when breast feeding (commonly sold at where you find baby stuff ie akachan honpo). Was this lady not using this presumably ? Think it’s not entirely out of the question to expect people to respect prevailing social norma especially when perfectly good workaround that keep everybody happy is available.

Unfair! Both she and the baby would be accepted in Japan! - She’s welcome to qualify and compete for the Canadian Women’s Olympic Basketball Team. (Is Canada still part of France, or England? ; )

Good grief. Is France an undeveloped country or something?

This is getting ridiculous, and I say it as a parent of three. Disneyland is very family-friendly, so there are breastfeeding rooms all over the place (or at least in Japan). And most of the mothers in Japan carry a cape, so they can breastfeed in privacy.

Speaking of Disney and fairy tales, a ‘slight’ correction to the @8:24am comments is needed:
Canada is an independent nation with its own constitution since 1982 yet, has not *fully “Brexit-ed” *(for lack or a better analogy) from the British Commonwealth. Canada does still acknowledge “Her Majesty, Elizabeth II” as “Queen of Canada” accepting Britain’s constitutional “monarchy”.- And, btw: Canada has long “*Fr*exit-ed” from *Fr*ance way back in 1763 when they became part of England.
So, ‘sorry’ Aussie ‘nursing’ mom. - Perhaps you should directly petition Canada’s PM Justin Trudeau? Maybe an “Ethics Tribunal” can be formed to hear your plight with Disney and possibly, get you on that Canadian breastfeeding Olympic Basketball Team in Japan on your way back “down under”?

Yes, when the baby is hungry it must be fed NOW! It can't wait the 2 minutes it takes to walk to somewhere more private and probably more comfortable....
If there were no appropriate places set aside for nursing mothers, then this lady may have a point. But there are. She isn't being told to breastfeed in the bathroom, which used to happen (and is disgusting). It isn't much of an ask to request she move to the appropriate place. Particularly when she is on private property.

No, the crux of the problem is that even in the 21st Century one still finds people who are for reasons I cannot begin to understand offended by the sight of a woman breastfeeding a child. The mother is not the problem here.

I don't see any problem with public breastfeeding. Natural and normal and innocent.
Although some women might want to voluntarily use a covering cloth to escape the gaze of voyeurists. Up to them.
