Good work Donny. I would praise you more except its your fault the Kurds were being slaughtered in the first place. You did what you've done since day one: create a problem, blame it on Obama, and then "fix" the problem.

It appears that the threatening message of Trump's bizzaro letter to the Turkish "devil" Erdogan, didn't get lost in translation, but Trump had better watch out 'cos as Johnny Winter used to sing, "be careful with a fool, you know, someday, he may get smart".

One doesn't get credit for resolving a crisis of one's own manufacture.

Joint Nobel Peace Prize for Trump, Erdogan, Putin and Assad.

Haha. Good one! Thanks for the early morning laugh.

Ending a horrible war that Obama, Hillary and the Deepstate started.

Incorrect. Why are you trying to revise history before 7:30 in the morning?

Lesson one don't trust an alliance with America, lesson two, prepare for genocide Americans care about themselves first and screw everything they have contact with. Must be one of those DNA quirks.

Joint Nobel Peace Prize for Trump, Erdogan, Putin and Assad.

Bwahaha. How quaint. Tell this one to the Kurds, who helped the fight against ISIS and terrorism, and just got the bejesus bombed out of them because of Trump and Erdogan. As for Putin and Assad...a love for true anti American sentiment is Trump's followers' trademark, but then, he's making money off of Putin's oligarchs, of which his minions are not. They don't really know the gist of what is going on, they're so mesmerized by Trump, they'll support any act of his. Unbelievably cultish.

Trump's letter to Erdogan: don't be a tough guy, like not a really rough guy, just can't get enough guy, chest always so puffed guy....duh.

It's pretty obvious that Erdogan wants to kick the Kurds out of Turkey because if Kurdistan ever becomes an actual nation, it would mean Turkey would loose a big chunk of its territory. He wants to kick them all out of their territory to prevent that kind of a scenario. Also, the fact that, Turkey began their military operation literally the very next day after the US troops withdrew tells me they must have coordinated this beforehand with someone from the US.

Chip Star:

Good work Donny. I would praise you more except its your fault the Kurds were being slaughtered in the first place.

The Kurds were being slaughtered by ISIS, which was indirectly supported by Obamas goons (the "vetted rebels"). Turkey is not "slaughtering" anyone. Maybe CNN forgot to tell you that about 15% of Turkeys population is Kurdish. Surprised? Yeah I guess so. What neither Turkey nor Syria can accept is the unilateral establishment of an Kurdish state on Syrian territory bording Turkey.

Which would never have happened without the illegal presence of US troops in Syria, which was the ill-advised doing of Obama and the eternal warmonger Hillary Clinton (who also advocated for "no fly zones" on Syrian territory, remember that?

Trump is ending the illegal and ill-advised effort of regime change in Syria, and he deserve a peace price for that, at least.

And one wonders why diplomacy couldn't have resolved this issue in the first place - if Trump and his administration were competent enough to execute it.

But no, Trump did his typical off the cuff freelancing without any discussion or advice during his "green light" call to Erdogan - him being a stable genius with great and unmatched wisdom and all...

So now several thousand people are dead, scores more injured, hospitals bombed, and ISIS fighters on the loose...

Peace Prize? Hardly, but I imagine Putin may consider him for the Order of Leningrad...

Yeah no fly zones and lines in the sand totally memory holed. I sometimes wonder if everything liberals said or did prior to 2016 even exists anymore.

What a load of Russian-authored BS...this stuff is on the same level as the faked moon landing and chem trails...

Trump is ending the illegal and ill-advised effort of regime change in Syria, and he deserve a peace price for that, at least.

Trump is doing exactly what his Master Putin ordered him to do - abandon the Kurds so Assad the murderer can once again consolidate rule over his country - and Russia can keep its Syrian Tartus military naval base - and increase Russian influence in the Middle East.

And that's exactly what has happened.

Well done President Trump!

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

That bigly beautiful letter some 6-year old wrote must have scared Erdogan.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Turkey agreed on Thursday to pause its offensive in Syria for five days to let Kurdish forces withdraw from a "safe zone"

Effectively asking the Kurds to unilaterally surrender the land they have fought for and defended for the last five years.  Erdogan probably cant believe, a) his luck and, b) that Trump is actually dumber than he appears on TV.  Turkey has conceded nothing, the Kurds are being asked to give up everything (or else) and Trump will somehow proclaim this absolute balls up as a stunning victory.  And no doubt there will be some brainwashed parrots squawking the same thing.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

All smells like a classic stage up.

Trump has Big Business involvement in Turkey.

Erdogan wants the thorn pulled from his foot - the Kurds.

Trump says I can help you with that, I'll just move our boys out of the attack zone first - OK? Yeh, OK!

To justify the act he said, "The PKK are even worse than ISIS". (popped an eyeball on that one!!!)

Now Trump says "Tremendous things are happening". I guess that includes all the deaths.

I can only assume he means his interests are "safe".

Thank God, finally a US leader who is extricating the US from the quagmire of the ME.

Lets see the countries that endlessly criticise the US rush in and take responsibility for once.

Heres your chance Ms Merkel!

More political theatre coming from the WH asylum, Trump started the Turkish/Syria fiasco. now all of a sudden Pence and Pompeo have miraculously convinced Erdogan to a cease fire while the Kurds are forced to withdraw from their lands with the tails between their legs, whatever happed to loyalty for the Kurdish people. All this theatrics to promote Trump in a good light to his base and promote his 2020 election. What a load of BS, typical Trump, cause a problem, then seem to correct it, I only hope that the American people see through this con man and vote him out in 2020, that's if he hasn't resigned by Christmas.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Acually, the whole fiasco was started by the previous administration sticking their nose into a civil war in Syria. All the time declaring that "Assad must go". Tulsi Gabbard was right, these regime change wars almost never work out.

Trump is right to pull out of the area. The US is energy self sufficient now, doesn't need Middle East oil. Perhaps the countries that DO actually have economic ties to the area should step up and take charge. How many American soldiers do you think should die to protect the Kurds?

Nancy Pelosi is choking on her dentures at this news.

Good work Donny. I would praise you more except its your fault the Kurds were being slaughtered in the first place.

Uh, no, Chip, it's not Trump's fault that any Kurds have been slaughtered, he did the right thing in getting our troops out of there, guaranteed had he not and any of them got killed during the Turkish assault you would be blaming him for their deaths. No matter what he does it's Orange Man bad with you.

One doesn't get credit for resolving a crisis of one's own manufacture.

Oh, the irony, Crazy, the irony. How about ISIS blossoming in Iraq and Syria during the Obama fiasco, and then, get this, the ISIS caliphate obliterated 2 years and 2 months after Trump took office. Oh my.

And Mitt shows their is still some backbone left in at least one Senate Repub;

Sen. Mitt Romney delivered perhaps the most thorough Republican rebuke of President Trump’s Syria withdrawal Thursday, calling Trump’s abandonment of the Kurds there “a bloodstain on the annals of American history.” But while that line will get a lot of play, there’s something else Romney said that shouldn’t escape notice. He also floated a theory about how Trump arrived at the decision: that he got bullied into it by Turkey and that he backed down. “It’s been … suggested that Turkey may have called America’s bluff, telling the president they are coming no matter what we did,” said Romney, of Utah. “If that’s so, we should know it. For it would tell us a great deal about how we should deal with Turkey, now and in the future.”

Yep, just like with Kim and all the other leaders he meets, Donnie gets "played" - and here he caved...

One more example of the Maleficent Moron in way over his head...

Well, you may want to check and see how many US militarily members have given their lives in Syria since Jan 17 2017.

Get back to me on that...

And you may want to read this...

“I feel physically ill with worry and concern and deeply ashamed that my own country would permit this fate to befall our close allies who did all our fighting for us, when we had the power to prevent it,” said a U.S. Marine who served in Syria in 2017-2018.

Weren't you a liberal before 2016? You claim to have voted for Obama twice.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

How many American soldiers do you think should die to protect the Kurds?

"Should" is not a fair term. "Acceptable loses" however....ALL of them. Its literally their job to accept that risk and they all literally signed up for the job.

Of course if I had my way there would be no U.S. troops in the M.E. at all and none would have been shifted to Saudi Arabia. I would bring them all home in an orderly fashion but give Erdogan some free missiles in his bases. Who loves the troops even more than me and would just bring them home immediately?

There is NO safezone for the Kurds, they were marked death! The Kurds were the American's puppet army, they have nothing value, they were just expensedables! They wont be safe, the Turks were coming for them!

And Mr.Putin is laughing louds in the Kremilin!

You did not provide any evidence that the Kurds were not slaughtered due to Donny's knee-jerk pull out of our troops.

No matter what he does it's Orange Man bad with you.

Again, and try to remember this, how something is accomplished is just as important as what is accomplished. Not even Donny's gimps Leningrad Lindsey and Moscow Mitch agree with how Donny withdrew.

Do you agree with Donny ordering our troops to Saudi Arabia?

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Draft speech for Donnie's next rally.....

"And did you see the miracle I worked in the Middle East with the Kurds? Yes, they say Moses makes miracles but he doesn't compare to the Stable Genius...its the truth, its the truth. Only I have saved the Kurds from annihilation - they would all be slaughtered if not for me. And my friend Erdogan has promised he won't hurt one more Kurd - not one.... And my Master, err. I mean good buddy Vlad has said he won't increase Russian influence and power in the Middle East - and Vlad never lies to me. And this fantasy that ISIS will re-group and launch attacks in the US and Europe - I know more than all the Intel Agencies in the world combined - trust me, we're safe"...

"Don't I deserve the Nobel Peace Prize? Maybe we should re-name it the Trump Peace Prize from now on..."

Cue the adoring, mind-controlled cheers.....

There have been 8 deaths among the American military so far in Syria. Eight families who have lost a father, a son, a husband. All for the sake of political posturing and chest beating. I say that's eight too many. Let the Europeans step up and settle the place if they want.

Wow, other Trumpophiles have told us that our troops are expendable and they know for what they signed up.
