How about some BBC fact checks for you then?

Most Americans could care less what Europe thinks. The Election is a US election, not a European one, guys can’t vote.

Besides, it's good to know what the enemy is thinking.

That’s why Trump is on these Democrats. Now liberals aren’t happy...

What fraud?

More and more people are coming forward as well as GOP observers being turned away in GA and PA

It's desperately blinkered of the Trump fanatics to hang onto their leader, as he plunges off the precipice.

So uhhhh.....where are the Biden supporters? Lol

-14 ( +3 / -17 )

Yeah! Because the US is the only country with the moral authority to worry about and meddle in other countries’ elections!

You have to be aware - he's trying to get this thread closed down. Once he reverts to this kind of nonsense, that's the signal.

Because GOP delegate licensed observers can’t watch, why?

They are watching.

70% of Germans have an unfavorable view of the US as if their opinion counts. ROFL. Let Americans worry about our election and everyone else worry about elections in their countries.

Unfortunately, whoever is PotUS and whatever decisions they take, it affects the whole world.

Isolation isn't a good place to be.

Are his followers so fantaically misguided that they'd be willing to sacrifice alliances, trade deals and respect?

So, we'll have our say, thanks all the same. In fact, given the claims that Trump is leader of the free world, perhaps the rest of us should have had a vote in your elections.

Why do liberals watch FOX, I thought they hate it?

FOX News is changing since now Trump hates them. Proof:

Fox News under fire by Trump allies over Arizona Biden projection

(news source)

5 ( +6 / -1 )

This is not actually happening.

Because GOP delegate licensed observers can’t watch, why?

Not blocking GOP observers is worse

It sure is.

I wouldn't know, not being a liberal. Besides, it's good to know what the enemy is thinking.

If evidence can prove and show attempted fraud, yes.

What fraud? Both you and 45 claim there's fraud without a shred of evidence.

Liberals are the last people and especially what they’re doing now to call anyone a totalitarian. ROFL!

I wouldn't know, not being a liberal. It's desperately blinkered of the Trump fanatics to hang onto their leader, as he plunges off the precipice.

He's sacrificing the credibility of the office of President and that of his country. Your country.

Conspiracy? If that were true, Democrat observers wouldn’t block GOP observers in Democrat states watching the voting county.

Then why don't the GOPNRA2A people shoot them in self defense for being blocked. They are also fighting for liberty It's stand your ground. Those are some pathetic cowardly Conservatives who are afraid to use their guns. TrumpGOPers (I don't mean regular Republicans) always are armed and ready. What coward conservatives. They are afraid of a mouse.

Wow and I used to think Robert Mugabe was an unhinged kleptocrat.

And then Trump came along.

In my 52 years of life. I have never seen any thing as dishonest as this.

In the final hours and the fog of election war, Trump supporters are looking for straws

Not straws, uncounted and unverified ballots...oh, what’s wrong with holding liberals accountable to election laws.

but slowly it’s beginning to set in that Trump could actually lose

As well as Biden

to the not so Sleepy Joe! Who would have thought?

And yet he’s not out...wonder why...

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

As much as Trump tries to wish away reality, the election will be televised and the counting will continue and as half the country rushes blindly toward the cliff, the other half will be thinking if not singing:

American lemmings, stay away from me

American lemmings, let me be

Don't come a-hangin' around my door

I don't wanna see your face no more

I got more important things to do.

Chorus:

American lemmings gonna mess your mind etc. etc.

The Democrats conduct, worse than that actually.

This comment leads me to believe you don't know what "demonstrably" means?

6 ( +7 / -1 )

@Sneezy

Only claims with evidence should be investigated.

I fully agree with this.

The filling out ballots is a good example.

Someone is caught filling out ballots at the election center. There is a video of it.

Someone questions it thinking it may be election fraud. This is a legitimate concern.

The explanation is provided that this is done to allow non machine readible ballots to be counted.

This statement is verified with election authorities (evidence or documentatoin is provided that this is in fact what was happening)

Case closed

If the concern is ignored then fuel is added to the fire or claims that election fraud is occuring. If the concern is addressed and then explained that is the end of it.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Demonstrably false

The Democrats conduct, worse than that actually.

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

once again you post misinformation which was debunked by Trump's lawyer in court

Doesn’t seem like judging by the lawsuits.

-13 ( +1 / -14 )

Courts will be seeing all of this.

Yeah sure. Twitter posts

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Demonstrably false.

They belong to 3rd world dictatorships, I feel deeply sorry for those few good American patriots out there.

The States that have majority of Trump people are literally stupid states. If you look at Mississippi, Kentucky, for example, look at their average incomes to get an idea. Sorry for calling them stupid, but if I were less than smart I would rather have smarter people be in charge by voting for them. They vote against their interests like not expanding Medicaid. Trump people in Japan would like to have Medicaid because Japan's healthcare system works for them in Japan.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

@Superlib: He will look like a fool to me if this is proven wrong.

He looked like a fool to me in the past when he made claims and they were proven to be lies. One of the reasons I would never support Trump.

If you ignore every claim it provides further credence to those who believe the election was stolen and may incite violence or worse.

What is wrong with investigating allegations if evidence provided?

If a legitimate concern is not investigated it would then appear as if the allegation is ignored because the person is on the other side or does not agree with you.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

it is critical to investigate his claims. If the makes claims with no evidence he will look like a fool. If he has evidence then this should be investigated.

Only claims with evidence should be investigated. Claims without evidence is no different from idle speculation. Speculation is not worthy of investigation.

12 ( +12 / -0 )

Are you upset or happy about Newt Gingrich (speaking on Fox News) advising Trump to get Barr to arrest the election workers in PA,

Why do liberals watch FOX, I thought they hate it?

and then get the state legislature throw out the results of the election?

If evidence can prove and show attempted fraud, yes.

Because if it's the latter, that's an endorsement of totalitarianism.

Liberals are the last people and especially what they’re doing now to call anyone a totalitarian. ROFL!

-13 ( +2 / -15 )

Even though I'm technically American, I've never lived there nor care about its politics, however, I find reading the comments of those who care really funny and entertaining. It made me realise that America is a great country, that is unfortunately populated by people who don't deserve the beautiful nation they've been given. They belong to 3rd world dictatorships, I feel deeply sorry for those few good American patriots out there.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

I'm pretty sure a large majority of the mail-in votes came from people who (a) had COVID-19 and could not make it to a polling station, (b) were related or had come in close proximity to those infected with the virus, so were under quarantine, (c) were intelligent enough to understand not to risk their health to wait in line with a large gathering of people, and (d) were intimidated enough by the possible threat of gun-toting rightists patrolling the voting centers.

All of these reasons could be linked back to any inaction or action on the part of Trump himself. So again, he has himself to blame for the large number of mail-in ballots.

12 ( +12 / -0 )

Trump and his supporters have become desperate

For transparency, heck yeah, as they should!

well beyond anything expected and clutching for the tiniest moment to turn into a conspiracy of voter fraud.

Conspiracy? If that were true, Democrat observers wouldn’t block GOP observers in Democrat states watching the voting county.

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

Tokyo:. If the makes claims with no evidence he will look like a fool.

Not by his fans, or lot of GOP politicians. Or you.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

Liberals are getting upset and why is that?

You'd have to ask one. Not being a liberal, I wouldn't know.

Are you upset or happy about Newt Gingrich (speaking on Fox News) advising Trump to get Barr to arrest the election workers in PA, and then get the state legislature throw out the results of the election?

Because if it's the latter, that's an endorsement of totalitarianism.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

Liberals are getting upset and why is that?

Because America's winningest president has a whopping 47.7% vote share winningly nourished by gravity?

5 ( +6 / -1 )

This must be like some kind of Chinese water torture for Trump watching this steady blue drip, drip taking his presidency away from him.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

@SuperLib

Trump's problem is that he cried wolf too many times in the past. Remember the 3 million illegal votes that were cast in the last election that were never proven?

He's lost the benefit of the doubt. No support without evidence due to his lying in the past. Same goes with a lot of the GOP.

Yes and no. I think, especially during this election, it is critical to investigate his claims. If the makes claims with no evidence he will look like a fool. If he has evidence then this should be investigated. I think this is more critical now due to the possibility of violence or further division and social unrest.

Regarding the pollster filling in the ballots: If this is filling in ballots which cannot be read by a machine this makes sense. If it is something else we will then hear about it after the election as all of this is recorded.

If we never hear of this again (i.e. Trump does not file a lawsuit on this) then it is a bunch of B.S. and it would be what it is claimed to be (filling in ballots which are not machine readable).

4 ( +4 / -0 )

If Trump eventually loses, he has only himself to blame. He believes that the America of today, is like how it was four years ago. However, it isn't. The demographics are all different.

Of course, he still has the vote of two types of Republicans: the die-hard, gun-toting, sometimes borderline white supremacists, and the gullible country-folk who would pretty much blindly follow any charismatic leader. It is that second group who I actually feel a bit sorry for because some of them seem generally friendly and nice people, but just got suckered in by a smooth talker.

The third group of Republican voters who he has lost are the intelligent and level-headed thinking ones, who are more centrist in thinking. They voted for him in 2016 because they thought he could make honest to goodness changes which more closely follow the traditional values of the Republican party. Unfortunately, they have been sadly disappointed and vowed to not make the same mistake again.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

I was all ready to vote Trump, but as soon as he promoted injecting Mr. Clean into your veins to kill the Cornoa Virus it was all off. It's OK to vote Republican as long as it's a normal Republican. But NEVER vote for someone who promotes injecting Mr. Clean into your veins to cure anything - whatever their pollical party may be. This was part of the TrumpCare plan and it's only 99 cents at your local Dollar General. But we will only understand all the details if Trump stays in the WH (but there are strong indicators he will refuse to leave if he loses the general election)

9 ( +10 / -1 )

yes dont worry, after all we will have to wait until 2030 only then we can get the 2020 election result. means trump still have 10 years time of being president while Nevada/Penn/NC/GA are calculating the votes.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

and how did you determine 1 is a Republican and 1 is a Democrat?

Because this isn't the first time I've taken part in a US election. This happens every time. This is a good way to use the buddy system. It works.

Is the man the R and the woman the D? or the other way around?

It doesn't matter.

The feed helped you to know this, how?

See answer one.

Does the feed have audio and how can I see if what the woman marks on the form matches the audio?

No, there is no audio, as far as I know.

Cant.

You leave me little recourse.

Please. Not everything is a conspiracy out to get you. Trump might still win. Just let the votes be counted.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/524749-nevada-republican-party-sends-criminal-referral-to-doj-alleging-thousands

3,602 cases of fraud. Very specific, almost like they knew about these people before the election even happened.

I will say, if Trump and his team had no plan in place for easily identifying fraudulent ballots and votes, like a watermark on real ballots that is absent on fake ones, they deserve to lose.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

-15 ( +1 / -16 )

Groups of Trump supporters rallied outside the count inside Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on Thursday to back the president’s demand for a halt to the count or to “protect the vote.”

Great! Transparency should be upheld at all cost and if not, then the counting should stop and everything that wasn’t counted on the 3rd should be invalidated.

Amazed at how much attention is being paid to Uday and Qusay

Who?

and their harassing of Republicans for not prostrating themselves before daddy. Who elected these young hooligans?

The writing's on the wall and both spineless and decent Republicans can see what he's doing. To the electorate and the country.

Liberals are getting upset and why is that?

How much longer will the farce continue, I wonder.

Looks like Trump, Barr and other legal experts have more than enough evidence to prove election laws were violated and if so, it won’t look good for the Dems.

-15 ( +1 / -16 )

1 what is the process for? (damaged ballot, etc?)

Yeah. Damaged, illegible, etc. We've been over this.

2 who confirms that the woman fills out the names that are read to her?

Her partner can see what she's doing.

3 why does every ballot seem to be filled out in the exact same areas?

Ballots are all printed copies. The places that you fill in for various races are in standardized locations on the page. So they'll be in roughly the same areas.

4 is this legal to do in this manner?

Yeah.

If we could have observers, someone could watch her fill out the names and confirm they are the names the man said?

There are observers in the room (you can see police officers walking around) and there are other observers, as well. THE PEOPLE WATCHING THE FEED.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

I been alive long enough to remember August. Did they fix this? this is the place where the so called "ballot dump" came from.

Detroit elections, where 72% of absentee votes do not match registered voters

https://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/politics/2020/08/20/benson-asked-investigate-detroit-perfect-storm-voting-problems/5616629002/

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

@zichi. Thanks. Is there a source for that?

It’s certainly a plausible explanation after reading what you wrote and watching the video again.

i wonder if there are circumstances where they would have to interpret what they thought the vote was

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Like him or not 50 percent of America voted for him. Let wait and see.

actually at last count Biden had 73.5million 50.4% the majority if the vote, seems like the electoral college will be accurate this time round

9 ( +10 / -1 )

so one guy reads out names. Another person fills in blocks. lets say that is believable.

1 what is the process for? (damaged ballot, etc?) 2 who confirms that the woman fills out the names that are read to her? 3 why does every ballot seem to be filled out in the exact same areas? 4 is this legal to do in this manner?

If we could have observers, someone could watch her fill out the names and confirm they are the names the man said?

Courts will be seeing all of this.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

International observers haven't been reporting any problems,

Are you joking? Anyway, No GOP observers were allowed to watch the counting in PA and GA and they have the constitutional right to be there and if the elections are supposed to be fair, why board up the windows, why not allow observers in, why no transparency? We know why.

The only ones crying about it are GOP observers,

And if the Dems weren’t allowed to watch they would be crying the loudest. There is a reason why Biden didn’t say ALL “LEGAL” votes should be counted. He doesn’t want to be on record.

We picked that up immediately

as this is part of their election strategy now they know they're on their way down.

No, just seeing what the Dems do and do do best, cheat the system and now once again it’s coming back to bite them.

-16 ( +1 / -17 )

lection chances fading as more votes are counted in a handful of battleground states, U.S. President Donald Trump launched an extraordinary assault on the country's democratic process

Typical media spin. The "assault on the democratic process" is by the Democrat party with their "red mirage", i,e. the massive mail fraud.

´But the media are complicit it, so articles like this are no surprise.

-13 ( +0 / -13 )

NC and Alaska are much less close than AZ yet the media wont say Trump won while they will say Biden won. Why?

Blacklabel, it's only Fox News and AP that called Arizona, not ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC or NYT.

Rupert Murdoch yanking your chain again?

7 ( +8 / -1 )

how do you know this within 15 seconds of seeing the video?

I didn't post within 15 seconds of seeing the video.

10 ( +12 / -2 )

yep, I called it. Dems online saying "well obviously she knows she is on camera, so it cant be fraud."

the end.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

how do you know this within 15 seconds of seeing the video?

This is a video of a Democrat and a Republican redoing ballots which were illegible and that the machine couldn't read. She is filling out what she is being told to by her partner. That's why they're flipping their ballots at roughly the same time.

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

I mean there must be some valid reason a woman would take a blank ballot, stamp it as received, and then fill it out with the exact same selections under no supervision at all each time. right?

Reminds me of the pics from PA where the poll workers counting the votes were wearing Biden campaign masks. Must be a reasonable explanation for all of this.

Liberals keep saying no fraud, we show it to you, you immediately create a reason for why it may have happened or what it could be, then you go back to saying no fraud.

it cant be fraud, I mean she is doing it right in front of the camera! well no, that doesnt explain what is happening in that video.

-11 ( +3 / -14 )

link. the worker is filling in the ballots.

-8 ( +5 / -13 )

@Blacklabel

I ask the same question as Zichi. With such a crazy accusation I think some evidence is needed. The counting locations are monitored with security video so this would certainly be caught and challenged if it is occuring.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

the evidence will be shown, to the court. Nobody cares if Chris Christie hasnt seen it yet.

Funny how nobody at all has seen it. Its almost like it doesn’t exist because they guy with a lengthy history of making stuff up when it suits him just made it up because it suits him.

But you keep holding onto that imaginary stuff, since at this point its all you have left. Sad.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Im watching a video right now of a polling station worker not counting ballots. But actually filling out ballots with no one observing her.

I would like the court to ask what this is.

-12 ( +3 / -15 )

Defund the police will be another non commitment.

? Biden never committed to defunding the police. He said the police needed more funding. Which I think is wrong and dumb.

court can order a revote like they did in North Carolina when Dems claimed (and proved) just 1 fraud.

They cannot: the law is that the election for President and Vice President are held exclusively every four years on the Tuesday after the first Monday in November.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

the evidence will be shown, to the court. Nobody cares if Chris Christie hasnt seen it yet.

In Nevada it already has been sent to the court as well as criminally referred to the DOJ.

Non resident voting in the thousands, is the claim.

-13 ( +3 / -16 )

Are the Trump supporters already starting to sing "auld lang syne?".

No, but from the looks of it now, Biden could.

"In Maricopa county, where Joe Biden’s lead over Donald Trump has been shrinking as election officials have continued to count ballots, a large group of rightwing, pro-Trump protesters has crowded outside a major elections center."

Yes.

"The far-right radio host Alex Jones, has joined protesters, some of whom were armed and some of whom identified as members of the white supremacist “boogaloo” movement.

As well as Biden supporters

https://www.lawenforcementtoday.com/l-a-county-sheriff-on-rioters-were-gonna-be-ready-for-them/

The protesters, who are clamoring for a Trump win, are actually slowing down election workers

Funny how election observers won’t let any independent or GOP witnesses to oversee the counting, why would they block the windows or not allow them to watch? Don’t they want transparency?

as they count ballots that seem to be favoring the president."

Yeah, like in Pennsylvania? Lol

-10 ( +3 / -13 )

One of my sisters vote never made it or was counted

Which is it, it never made it, or it made it and was not counted? How do you know?

now all of a sudden it’s different

Yes it is, because there's a pandemic raging (record numbers of new cases in the US), people are advised to stay home and Trump thought it would be a good idea to hobble the postal service right before the election specifically to make it harder for people to vote.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/aug/13/donald-trump-usps-post-office-election-funding

It’s not just Trump, it’s about the entire system for both sides.

Funny how it's always the most strongly-patriotic Americans who diss the US the hardest.

The political system is corrupt, the politicians are all liars, the postal system is rubbish, a proper healthcare system is impossible because the government is inept and the poorer parts of the population don't deserve it anyway, parts of the country painted the wrong political colour are full of ignorant rednecks/violent gangs/elite hippies/rich tech nerds who don't pay enough taxes/religious bigots/crazy gun-totin' vigilantes/traitors tryin' to take our guns, etc., etc.... Gotta long way to go to make America great. From your perspective, not mine.

because its narrative indicates that Trump is "losing" when he is not.

Give him his win in NC. Give him his win in Alaska. He won those.

Be honest that he is in the lead in GA and PA and that AZ and NV are trending towards him.

Refusal to do this, frames the public into the falsehood that because Trump is "losing" his claims of fraud must also be illegitimate.

-10 ( +2 / -12 )

How? are the vote counters outside? count the votes and tell us who won, then no one has to "clamor" for anything. If its this close, retract the call that Biden has already won.

NC and Alaska are much less close than AZ yet the media wont say Trump won while they will say Biden won. Why?

The protesters, who are clamoring for a Trump win, are actually slowing down election workers as they count ballots that seem to be favoring the president."

-9 ( +3 / -12 )

Guys, is Trump really worth your integrity?

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Wow, at of 12:52, Trump is about to LOSE Georgia. 1,775 vote difference with 99% of the vote in and most of the mail in ballots are from Democrats. BYE Trump. Get ready for Prison, and for your precious Ivanka too!

7 ( +9 / -2 )

If this happens, just read the alternative views from the right. We’ll get similar spin and shading from them. For balance, pay attention to both and draw your own conclusions

I wont be watching either one of them because I experienced and observed...I saw what happened...lol

As far as the deep state and anti Trump MSM mobilization machine...not sure about that. Their silence during the peaceful rioting and later zealot level commitment to COVID...was scary. Id like to see a documentary about that.

-11 ( +0 / -11 )

watch this: future MSM and other Dem inspired documentaries will show Trump and the rallies as this huge evil stain on US history...but they will leave out the peaceful riots, the COVID dem mayor and governor blunders, the Trmp economic success story. They will paint this era as something to forget, like we all suffered so much trauma. Thing is, that crap is not credible anymore; its too transparent as leftist propaganda, but I know their going to do it.

If this happens, just read the alternative views from the right. We’ll get similar spin and shading from them. For balance, pay attention to both and draw your own conclusions.

I’m sure jailbird Dinesh D’Souza will put together a glossy movie ending with fascinating conspiracy theories portraying Trump as the victim of the deep state etc.

Should be interesting.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Trump did so well this time, much more than expected. He also is on track to get more votes than Obama did.

He does need to work on his outreach to the "dead" vote though. Thats 100% Dem so far.

Will be quite easy to prove fraud when it is show even 1 dead person voted.

-10 ( +4 / -14 )

Of course they are. He's their leader.

It’s not just Trump, it’s about the entire system for both sides.

One explanation is the huge number of anyone-but-Trump votes.

As well as dead people, last minute votes popping up. One of my sisters vote never made it or was counted, the other sister who’s a Biden supporter did.

And those who are house-bound, bedridden, quarantined with an infectious disease, working three jobs and not allowed time off...their votes aren't that important?

This has happened since we have had elections and now all of a sudden it’s different.

Biden will have failed? No.

The investigation begins and the ball started to roll

-10 ( +4 / -14 )

court can order a revote like they did in North Carolina when Dems claimed (and proved) just 1 fraud.

"In North Carolina, they did NOT prove the fraud changed the outcome. They merely proved fraud occurred. Democrats demanded a revote, and that relief was granted because it is impossible to prove every evidence of fraud. Why shouldn't same standard apply?"

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

watch this: future MSM and other Dem inspired documentaries will show Trump and the rallies as this huge evil stain on US history...but they will leave out the peaceful riots, the COVID dem mayor and governor blunders, the Trmp economic success story. Thing is, that crap is not credible anymore; its too transparent as leftist propaganda, but I know their going to do it.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Anyway, I think the idea of a leader still occupying the position for months after the electorate has rejected him or her is a ridiculous situation in the first place.

Jimizo, it happens quite often in banana republics

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Regardless of the EC outcome, democrats have won 7 out of the last 8 presidential elections on the popular vote.

I am of course working on the assumption that Trump’s baseless theory that 3 million illegals voted Democrat in 2016, and the predictable repeat of mass voter fraud this time around should not be factored in as they lack credible evidence.

Biden, if he prevails, will nevertheless have failed to deliver the sweeping repudiation to Trump that Democrats had hoped for, reflecting the deep support the president enjoys despite his tumultuous four years in office. Trump's influence on the Republican Party will remain strong, even if he ultimately loses a tight election.

This is all on the Democratic party and their efforts to make a consensus with the Republicans to push a neo-liberal agenda on America damn the consequences.

After Trump loses, he is still the president for awhile, and he has shown that he is willing to use his control over weak minds to destroy and divide rather than unite. This worries me. Who doesn’t he hate?

It’s still an ‘if’ with Trump.

Anyway, I think the idea of a leader still occupying the position for months after the electorate has rejected him or her is a ridiculous situation in the first place.

Looks like Biden is about to overtake Trump in Georgia. Writing is really on the wall if even Georgia is turning blue.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

The second error is his handling of the corona virus crisis. It is dangerous, he was affected himself, and what he can best, producing a flourishing economy, is simply not possible under corona ignorance and not following scientific advice. Those two problems broke it and will undoubtedly cost the presidency.

It wouldnt of mattered if he did everthing Euro or China style, the way they handled the virus. Remember the peaceful riots? nobody complied with the rule of social distancing and mask, some of them even made their identity too easy for law enforcement to ID them later...lol.

Trump was screwed from jump, but it gives us insight on how the machine works. Lets see how they treat Biden. I agree with you though, he did allot right, there will never be another like him. We should of fronted Pence as Pres, and Trump as some ranking cabinet member.

The count goes on. Why? Voters decide elections, NOT candidates. The Senate is now OPEN for the take! NEVER count your chickens before they roost. Count every legal vote.

Near a logging camp in Pennsylvania an old man in a loggers jacket with a sharp axe brings down a big red tree. He cry's out "TIMBER" Trumps tenure is terminated. The man known as "sleepy" Joe Biden has brought down a grisseld warped redgum that had harbored no wildlife and had done no good for the surrounding environment. Now it was to be "fired" in the pit to provide warmth to the faithful.

There was an election in the home of the free, land of the brave. More American voted in this election than had ever voted before. Both sides of the contest received more votes than they had ever before, but one side came out with a majority of support. No fraud, just democracy in action. Nothing untoward has happened other than one side claiming victory when they had none to claim. One side denigrating democracy that was in perfect working order.

Some people love a good fantasy and I think Trump is one of them. His supporters believe what ever fantasy Trump tells them.

If there is any justice in this world, Biden will win and in time sanity will hopefully return to America.

Biden is not as much of a problem as AOC, the squad and Harris will be, that’s a nightmare scenario that would come to fruition if he’s in office and it wouldn’t be long before that would play out.

I dont see that as a problem. too many checks in play. 1st check: Biden. Even at 80, the Dems put him out front because they know a radical had no chance of winning. 2nd check: Biden himself. Biden was just fronting for the Dem team during the campaign, he went silent during the peaceful riots, because it benefited him. Youll see him pivot again. 3rd check: the public wont stand for it, look at the divide, look at the Trump voters, it was huge. 4th Check....Senate and Courts

We are safe for now

Thank you for your reply. From the article (and consistent from what I heard when a poll watcher was interviewed)

Judge Christine Fizzano Cannon reversed a lower court decision, and concluded that “all candidates, watchers, or candidate representatives be permitted to be present for the canvassing process … and be permitted to observe all aspects of the canvassing process within 6 feet, while adhering to all COVID-19 protocols, including, wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.”

However what I have heard is the poll watchers are not being allowed to the distance of 6 feet and that is the issue.

I understand a court has actually ruled that the observers must be allowed to watch the counting. Why was there such an order if this was not happening? Was there no such court ruling?

That's right. What the court actually ruled was that observers were allowed to approach closer than they were previously allowed. Before the ruling, observers had to stand back further than usual, in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Advocating fairness and equality is only a nightmare for those who want to maintain the status quo.

Hopefully, somewhere down the line, America will get over its irrational fear of equality and solutions to the ravages of extreme capitalism.

Im not much on conspiracy theories but after experiencing/observing the evolution of massive Trump rallies and the country economy etc on a high, then COVID, then the reversal....makes you think. I see all this about Biden getting the most popular votes in history, but never a mention of the onslaught of hate towards Trump; nothing has ever been witnessed before. Depends on what you mean by "radical", I suppose. Ideologies of equality and a kind of proto-socialism go back to ancient Greece, Persia, India and biblical times.

Of course - he's a center right politician, which is not something socialists would enthuse about. But it will have to do for now.

He cannot win , of course not, because he made many things right, but two big errors. The first error is underestimating the fact of which majorities the population consists. That are not typical Trump supporters, in contrary, and that are not people ever being willing or capable of making America great again. The second error is his handling of the corona virus crisis. It is dangerous, he was affected himself, and what he can best, producing a flourishing economy, is simply not possible under corona ignorance and not following scientific advice. Those two problems broke it and will undoubtedly cost the presidency.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Regarding PA, there will be a lawsuit, and it will involve a lot of votes being thrown out. The plaintiff (Trump and/or the Republicans) will win, because Pennsylvania’s highest court has almost certainly violated the Constitution of the United States. That’s why, in the weeks ahead, the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) is going to rule in favor of Trump....

In 2019, the PA legislature passed a law called Act 77 that permitted all voters to cast their ballots by mail but (in Justice Alito’s words) “unambiguously required that all mailed ballots be received by 8 p.m. on election day.” The exact text is 2019 Pa. Leg. Serv. Act 2019-77, which stated: “No absentee ballot under this subsection shall be counted which is received in the office of the county board of elections later than eight o'clock P.M. on the day of the primary or election.” I agree with Justice Alito: That is unambiguous.

Act 77 also provided that if this portion of the law was invalidated, that much of the rest of Act 77, including its liberalization of mail-in voting, would also be void. The exact text is: “Sections 1, 2, 3, 3.2, 4, 5, 5.1, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 12 of this act are nonseverable. If any provision of this act or its application to any person or circumstance is held invalid, the remaining provisions or applications of this act are void.”

To again put this into common English, the Pennsylvania legislature passed a law that said mail-in ballots had to arrive by 8PM on election day to be counted, and then said that if the Court over-ruled that law, the entire law that permitted mail-in ballots was invalid.

In the face of this clear text, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, by a vote of four to three, made the following decrees, summarized here by SCOTUS:

Mailed ballots don’t need to be received by a election day. Instead, ballots can be accepted if they are postmarked on or before election day and are received within three days thereafter. Note that this is directly contravenes the text above.

A mailed ballot with no postmark, or an illegible postmark, must be regarded as timely if it is received by that same date.

In doing so, PAs’ high court expressly acknowledged that “the statutory provision mandating receipt by election day was unambiguous” and conceded the law was “constitutional,” but still re-wrote the law because it thought it needed to do so in the face of a “natural disaster.” It justified its right to do so under the Free and Equal Elections Cause of the PA State Constitution.

We fully disagree on many items. I think Trump is not suitable to be the President of the U.S. However I would like to reply to your statement above.

Pennsylvania is not allowing for a transparent vote count. Trump won a lawsuit to allow poll observers as state law provides for. Still not allowing observers.

From what I understand now I fully agree with your statement. If this is what is going on then someone needs to explain to me why this should be allowed and why it is OK.

It completely undermines confidence in the system if this is true and is happening and it needs to be rectified. I do not understand why registered and legally allowable poll watchers would not be allowed to witness the count.

The Republicans are right to smell a rat. If court challenges prove beyond reasonable doubt that the Democrats trucked in fraudulent votes and prevented bipartisan counting, then they should be ruled invalid.

Which, the Republicans or Trump?

Are you trying to say the actions of one individual Trump is that of the Republican party?

Well, Trump and Republicans alike. There were Republican supporters gathered at one of the Michigan polling places in question where that truck pulled up at 4am after the lockout with the now-contested votes trying to find out what's going on and later finding out these totally unrealistic figures.

So, both.

Its interesting how the US elite treats elections abroad vs elections at home.

Back in the day (early 80's) I was part of a Catholic group working with the Philippines election reform group NAMFREL, during the Marcos dictatorship. We had American election "experts" assisting on creating systems of election security. Shortly after, I was shocked when I personally saw how elections were run in California.

The hypocrisy is monumental.

I couldn’t agree more snd it’s been like this for a long time since I can remember, the entire system needs to be overhauled.

Of course they are. He's their leader.

According to news reports, Biden got more votes than Obama...anyone with half a brain knows that didn't happen...impossible.

One explanation is the huge number of anyone-but-Trump votes.

If you want to vote you should atleast make an effort to get up and go down to the booth and cast your vote. ..... If you can't be bothered then it can't be that important.

And those who are house-bound, bedridden, quarantined with an infectious disease, working three jobs and not allowed time off...their votes aren't that important?

Biden will have failed? No. The failure is on the part of the nearly 70 million turkeys who decided to vote for Thanksgiving.

a good point. I dont think a Biden win, however, is as scary as it seems to be right now. Biden will inherit the same problems the media exploited 24/7 to remove Trump; COVID and unemployment. This isnt Obama 2nd term wack ideas and funny business time. Its turn key next day same problems, with no plan in sight. Biden will do what he has always done, be a politician and do a 180 on most of what he promised. The media will give him a full term honey moon but the public....it will be rigorous.

If voter fraud took place and it can be proven. I call for re-vote immediately.

Biden has a right to know if he won it fair and square. Rumors of ballots in the hundreds of thousands just showing up in the middle of the night and people being asked to vote twice which has already been proven and the slow count in the state of Pennsylvania are all highly disturbing to me. All of this is very hard to swallow for me. I have followed Donald Trump for decades and know for a fact when he does not get his way he always threatens litigation. From his construction deals and workings with his sub-contactors to his TV persona and agents. He is going to lash out and cry (UNFAIR I SAY). That's just the man. But Democrats and Republican's (Americans need to come together) on this. And seriously have a transparent trouble shooting and investigation on the voting process in America or modernize it or something. There seems to be too much State control here. At the booth you think to yourself. I like Trump. I like Biden. Then so right down the ticket. Here is my passport or ID. Cast drop and done. Absentee the same way. This is not a party problem.

This is an American problem. Am I wrong?

Let's confirm if some sort of fraud took place, Lets confirm it was a fair count. If Trump lost he lost. I like what Ice Cube said. It does not matter who sits in the White house. Still have to get up and go to work. If my choice for President loses. They lose. If they win they win. As an American and someone who has worked for political campaigns since I was 15 years old. I really in my heart want to know if the Democratic election process in my country is fractured or broken. Lets get to the bottom of it. Once and for all. The American people have a right to know who is going to lead the country and have their finger on the pulse of America and all that she brings to the world stage. That is my two cents. Sorry for the rant! Sincerely, The Slick Drift King!

-1 ( +7 / -8 )

@Sneezy

I am well aware of that. The Watergate actions took place in 72 and had nothing to do with the 1960 election.

My point is that Nixon, who engaged in such activity, was even willing to concede the election to JFK graciously in spite of similar concerns.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

In my personal opinion I don't think anybody should be allowed to mail in votes regardless if fraud exists or not. If you want to vote you should atleast make an effort to get up and go down to the booth and cast your vote. If you are overseas then get down to the embassy and make your vote there. If you can't be bothered then it can't be that important.

You don't know how US elections work. Embassies and consulates are a function of the Federal government, while elections are handled by state governments. That's why you cannot vote at any US embassy or consulate.

Postal ballots are vital for our troops, for the housebound, and especially during a pandemic. Even Trump votes using a postal ballot.

21 ( +25 / -4 )

The Democrats have been using every dirty trick in the book to get rid of Trump over the last 4 years, and have invented a few more along the way. And they failed.

So they're not about to let an election get in the way of what they think is "rightfully theirs," so are up to shenanigans in Michigan and possibly elsewhere to fudge the mail-in vote. The Republicans are right to smell a rat. If court challenges prove beyond reasonable doubt that the Democrats trucked in fraudulent votes and prevented bipartisan counting, then they should be ruled invalid. If the evidence points beyond all reasonable doubt in the other direction, then so be it.

This isn't over by a long shot.

@James - you do realize if someone lives in someplace such as Tottori or Yamagata getting to the Embassy in Tokyo would require quite an effort and a large expense. When was the last time that you saw a president of the US blame cheating for their own inadequacies in the election. What an absolute disgrace of a person, let alone a president.

21 ( +25 / -4 )

The accusation and complaints by Nixon in 1960 (which actually was later to be demonstrated to be plausible) was that Kennedy's father Joseph Kennedy Sr. was buying votes to get JFK elected and influenced the electoral process.

In his concession speech Nixon stated that in the interest of the country he would fully accept the results of the election and congratulated Kennedy on the victory. At that time even Nixon (in spite of his Watergate actions) recognized the importance of unity and leadership.

You seem quite confused about your timeline. Nixon hadn't taken any "Watergate actions" when he lost to Kennedy in 1960. The Watergate scandal took place during the 1972 election, when Nixon was President, and running against George McGovern.

No, about 48.5% of voters voted for Trump and about 50.5% voted for Biden so that isn't very close in a US election. Trump will have to suck it up and soon hear the US say, 'You're fired'!! Scary that Trump could even get as many votes as he did but it seems sanity will prevail as long as Trump's diehard supporters don't go ballistic. If they do, it will be on Trump.

Mr. Trump: I will listen to your claim however the burden of proof is on you. Trump needs to present evidence this has actually occured and go through the legal process to prove this.

If it cannot be proven in court then the results of the election must be respected.

Take 1960 for example:

Kennedy received 49.72% of the popular vote and Nixon recieved 49.55% of the popular vote. In that election the Electoral Vote was 303-219 in favor of Kennedy.

I do not see Trump has having the same level of statemanship Nixon had and it is unlikely Trump will concede in this way.

If he has the evidence then he needs to lay it on the table for us all to see otherwise he needs to show true leadership and concede and wish Biden well.

Theres no fraud, give up Trump, even people born in 1902 have woken up and are voting against you. Not only that they are probably the same ones who voted for Hillary last elections.

12 ( +19 / -7 )

All of that good luck seemed miracle to win Hillary in 2016 and this time thinking the opposition doing the dirty ways, very careful action and unfairly dirty mind...Be proud and just think you did some good things to USA, too, Mr. Trump. Seriously, you claim election being 'stolen' is a shame, be honored to be president and retired as a brave man, dude!

If we stopped counting right now, trump would lose.

I bet the stable genius didn’t think of that!!

27 ( +34 / -7 )

All lies on his part. Did you see how he slumped away at the end of the speech? He looks like a total loser. He should be keeping quiet, there is still a chance he can win. Acting like a baby like this just makes him look small.

Trump and Biden prove democracy is worse than communism.

-37 ( +5 / -42 )

A disgrace. He has no dignity.

29 ( +37 / -8 )

When you are preventing official observers from watching the count being carried out, it doesn't look good.

-22 ( +13 / -35 )

Possible but unlikely.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Disgrace. As mentioned above, this could get people killed.

Of course not unexpected given his character and history of spouting conspiracy theories and baseless trash, but still appalling.

No Mr. President. It is called democracy. Votes are being counted accordingly. There are Republican and Democratic representatives watching in each place, with cameras for people in general to watch as well.

If you want to stop the counting now, then Joe Biden will be the next president because he currently leads in Nevada and Arizona and will achieve the necessary 270 by getting those states.

It is total bias by saying to stop the counting in Pennsylvania and Georgia, but not Arizona and Nevada. Just let the democratic process play itself out and let the hardworking volunteers do their job of counting the votes.

In addition, your 15 minute speech just made America look weak to its adversaries. Questioning the democratic process is an insult and I'm sure countries like China are laughing their heads off.

Evoke and execute the 25th. NOW. This loser is going to get people killed. He is inciting violence.

29 ( +38 / -9 )

Crooked Trump, his entire sick family, and ALL his supporters are nothing but sore losers. You got whipped, just be a man for once in your life and admit it.

Trump claims election being 'stolen' from him

Yeah, by the voters.

Pathetic excuse.

42 ( +51 / -9 )

The USA is a democracy, and elections are central to the democratic process. Is Trump saying that the USA can't even get elections right? That is another sign of the decline of the USA.

33 ( +40 / -7 )

It is! Big tech, big money, big pollsters, all got it wrong. Like him or not 50 percent of America voted for him. Let wait and see.
