Trump stopped the Attack on Iran. Trump stopped the roundup / deportation of Illegal Immigrants, and now he is going to stop the imposing of Sanctions on Iran. This man is something else! All talk, no action. Remember when he said Hillary would be locked up? Well, he backed off on that as well.

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday

something he'll quickly flip-flop on or claim he never said.

he wanted to make a deal

so he'll be sending Jared to secure rights for a Trump hotel in Tehran and trademarks for Ivanka.

Trump cares only about his and his family's wealth.

Iran's foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, published a map on Twitter with detailed coordinates which he said showed the drone was flying over the Islamic Republic's territorial waters.

It's a damn shame, that I believe Iran's Foreign Minister, over Trump and his administration.

Dump's normal behavior. Ruin something that is working fine because Pres. Obama did it. Then he makes it worse. Someone else comes in and fixes it, so it is only a little bit worse than before. Finally, he tries to claim victory.

He is a scammer and his supporters are so tired of looking dumb that will do anything to win. The undereducated supporting a criminal.

It wasn’t working, it would have never worked.

https://www.myheritage.org/news/4-reasons-why-the-iran-deal-may-be-the-worst-diplomatic-decision-in-history/

Then he makes it worse.

No, Iran made it worse by attacking our national interests.

Someone else comes in and fixes it, so it is only a little bit worse than before. Finally, he tries to claim victory.

What?

He is a scammer and his supporters are so tired of looking dumb that will do anything to win. The undereducated supporting a criminal.

Ok, so what’s the Democrats excuse?

It's a damn shame, that I believe Iran's Foreign Minister, over Trump and his administration.

Why? You made the choice to believe the FM. I don’t believe one word out of his mouth because I know he would destroy my country if given the opportunity, now that’s damn shame.

-11 ( +2 / -13 )

It wasn’t working, it would have never worked.

Is that why the US certified it as working multiple times?

No, Iran made it worse by attacking our national interests.

By attacking non-American ships after Donny ripped up the nuclear deal and tried to choke its economy? Hilarious.

Ok, so what’s the Democrats excuse?

Whenever you have no substantive retort, you take an irrelevant dig at democrats/liberals?

Why? You made the choice to believe the FM. I don’t believe one word out of his mouth because I know he would destroy my country if given the opportunity, now that’s damn shame.

But you believe everything that falls from Donny's constantly lying lips. Now, that's a damn shame.

"Military action was "always on the table," the president said, but he added that he was open to quickly reaching a deal with Iran that he said would bolster the country's flagging economy." oh really !! and who installed sanctions on Iran to try and choke its economy. Cause a problem , then seem to fix the problem you created, Trump and the WH asylums inmates modus operandi .

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Is that why the US certified it as working multiple times?

So now we can trust the business investors and the establishment? I see. Lol

.

By attacking non-American ships after Donny ripped up the nuclear deal and tried to choke its economy? Hilarious.

Which it is and more sanctions are on the way. “Python technique.”

Whenever you have no substantive retort,

I always do.

But you believe everything that falls from Donny's constantly lying lips. Now, that's a damn shame.

Him over the FM and over the establishment Washington career nut jobs, of course, that’s a given. I would never believe a country that’s sole purpose is to eradicate my country, push for it via proxy wars or through radical jihadists.

-11 ( +1 / -12 )

Week after week, the US ratchets up the pressure.

Iran recovered the drone parts, on Iranian soil of course.

But the US will keep sending more, goading Iran into the war that the Neocon Deepstate wants.

You do realize that it's the guy you constantly praise - Donny - that is doing all this, correct?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

I dunno - could Trump be learning? Could Bolton's and the neocons' influence be slipping?

Trump's certainly toned down the rhetoric over the past few days, and no-one in their right mind could argue the decision not to launch airstrikes against Iran was the wrong one.

Problem is with Trump, you never know, and tomorrow's headlines could be completely the opposite.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

And I thought Trump's anti-fans would jump for joy when he reversed his threats because they weren't happy with those. Damn if he does damn if he doesn't. My beef with Trump is that he just have to make sure people know he has no teeth. I mean when your opponents knows you have no teeth, you're doom. But still, I thank him for making flights tickets to Japan cheap again. It's important to me.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

Military action was "always on the table," the president said, but he added that he was open to quickly reaching a deal with Iran that he said would bolster the country's flagging economy.

"We will call it 'Let's make Iran great again,'" Trump said.

The Mullahs must be salivating. All they gotta do is get with the program, stop causing mayhem and give up their nuke program. But are they smart enough to do it?

CrazyJoe: It's a damn shame, that I believe Iran's Foreign Minister, over Trump and his administration.

Yes. It is.

By the way, Trump's approval numbers would be a lot higher if most of the media didn't constantly lie about him. As long as he can draw tens of thousands to a rally and the Democrats struggle to fill a high school gym, I think he stands a good chance of being re-elected.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Why would the Iranians trust Trump? he cancelled the nuclear deal, or at least withdrew America from it and imposed sanction on any country having business with Iran. Both Russia and China are still doing business with Iran.

Trump cancels previous government agreements. How could they trust Trump with any new agreement. He can't resolve the problem with NK or the trade problems with China or even the relationship with Russia.

Both Russia and China would back Iran in any war with America. There are 200 million Shia Muslims in the Middle East.

Iran is the 17th largest world country. Far too large for any successful land war.

Yesterday, Iran executed a defense dept official for being a CIA spy.

You would be saying the opposite if he had done those things. He just can't win with some people.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

It is interesting to see how the Trump hating corporate media and their believership are now in full warmongering mode. Well, I have always said there is no difference between neocons and neolibs.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Trump is treating Iran as if it was a contractor or supplier on one of his 'developments'.

His pattern with them is to NOT make the payments he is legally required to, use lawyers and denial and phony counterclaims and delays and appeals until they are so financially strapped they settle for pennies on the dollar, but he makes even that 'settlement' conditional on them agreeing to be a contractor/supplier on whatever 'development' he is foisting on some poor community.

But he doesn't get that Iran is not some contractor/supplier unable to stand up to his bullying.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Since June 20th American military has started cyber attacks against Iranian targets which is probably why Trump cancelled a direct attack.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Why would the Iranians trust Trump?

They don't have much of a choice. Just like they have to trust Putin and Xi.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

They don't have much of a choice. Just like they have to trust Putin and Xi.

Both Putin and Xi are ignoring the Trump threats and continuing to support Iran. Another Trump deal example. He cancells the Canada/Mexico trade deals. Makes new deals with both and within just a week of the Mexican trade deal Trump threatens sanctions over the border.

So how does any country trust a Trump deal?

2 ( +4 / -2 )

he wanted to make a deal to bolster its flagging economy, an apparent move to defuse tensions

If only we could take their nukes off the table, defuse tensions, and find a way to bolster their flagging economy.

Oh, wait, Obama already did that. Then Trump killed it. And now he's trying to put the exact same thing he killed back together again and is getting nowhere.

Just outstanding work overall.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Superlib: Iran has complied with the deal.

bass4funk: I’ll take the word of the Pentagon and intelligence over what the Iranians or the media says.

Superlib: The US certified Iran's compliance in 2017 and 2018.

bass4funk: So now we can trust the business investors and the establishment? I see. Lol

Kinda seems like you trusted the intelligence agencies, learned they didn't support your position, then decided you didn't trust them.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Any war with Iran would see the ME in flames and Israel destroyed with the possibility that Israel would use nuclear weapons.

The price of oil would skyrocket and destroy economies around the world.

A war won’t happen....

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Kinda seems like you trusted the intelligence agencies,

I do.

learned they didn't support your position, then decided you didn't trust them.

I don’t trust the establishment meaning: the politicians and the business nut jobs that have a vested interest with money tied in to keeping the disastrous deal.

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

the politicians and the business nut jobs that have a vested interest with money tied in to keeping the disastrous deal.

Please explain. Which capitalist nut jobs are you referring to? Are you a socialist?

Donny broke the deal because he associates it with Obama, a black man who is 10 times the man Donny will ever be. Now the Iranians are breaking the deal. Years of work set back to zero. This is what the neocons whispering in the president’s ear call progress. Donny is obviously a master of the art of the deal.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

Please explain.

I did 8 times now.

Which capitalist nut jobs are you referring to?

Take your pick, liberals are on a roll.

Are you a socialist?

Rhetorical question?

Donny broke the deal because he associates it with Obama,

No, because he looked at the parameters and listened to the Israelis as well as the Saudis and Senior Republicans and decided the deal, once he becomes President should be torn up and thankfully he did just that. Kudos!

a black man who is 10 times the man Donny will ever be.

What is it with liberals and race? Now had I said, the opposite, I would be accused of being a racist. Smh....

Now the Iranians are breaking the deal.

They would have done it anyway, no one told the Iranians even now to do what they are doing, they could have shown the world we will not move forward and enrich uranium and fire up our centrifuges, they do have options and no one put a gun to their head. They made the conscious and deliberate choice to go back and enrich uranium.

This is what the neocons whispering in the president’s ear call progress. Donny is obviously a master of the art of the deal.

I’m just happy that deal was torn to pieces. Lol

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

plasticmonkey:

Donny broke the deal because he associates it with Obama, a black man who is 10 times the man Donny will ever be.

No, Donny broke the deal because it was a bad deal, and this was part of his election platform. I guess the concept of policians actually living up their election promises is a shocking concept for you.

And about being 10 times the mean.... I dont know that is supposed to mean, but Donny has not started new stupid foreign war and destroyed countries like Libya yet. If that is a lack of manhood, I can live with that.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

WilliB: " but Donny has not started new stupid foreign war and destroyed countries like Libya yet."

Trump has started an economic war with Iran, Venezuela and NK. The US currently has 30 nations under sanctions. The US did the same with Japan before Japan attacked Pear Harbour. The US had sanctions and boycotts in Japan and this was one of the main reasons for the Japanese attack.

Starving a nation into subservience, into submission is war. Any nation that the US perseves as an economic threat, that it deems a threat to its economic dominance is considered an enemy of the US. Next will be India,

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Trump has started an economic war with Iran, Venezuela and NK.

Good.

The US currently has 30 nations under sanctions.

Great!

The US did the same with Japan before Japan attacked Pear Harbour.

No one told Japan to go into Manchuria. They did that on their own...

the United States launched an embargo against Japan, ceasing export of all iron and steel. By July of 1941, Japanese assets within the United States were frozen and the export of oil halted. It can be argued that the first push for war in the Pacific was actually the American embargo on trade with Japan, but with China suffering under the brutal Japanese occupation, few other options were available.

The US had sanctions and boycotts in Japan and this was one of the main reasons for the Japanese attack.

Yes and Japan made its decision, but we have just stood by and allowed Japan to brutalize China and Korea more.

Starving a nation into subservience, into submission is war.

What do you think they were doing to China and Korea?

Any nation that the US perseves as an economic threat, that it deems a threat to its economic dominance is considered an enemy of the US. Next will be India,

Only if India decides to attack us, which I doubt,

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

No deals with a terrorist state. Just keep the pressure on indefinitely until the Iranian people gain their freedom from the horrendous religious dictatorship that they are currently subjected to.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

No deals with a terrorist state.

There are many terrorist states including Saudi and Israel.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Well, if you go by that then every other country would be a terrorist State depending on the person you are talking to.

There's no difference between Saudi and Iran other than one is Sunni the the other Shia. Both are barbaric countries which oppress their people, especially women. Both sponsor terrorism. For the past years, with the help of Americans Saudi has been bombing Yemen including hospitals and schools. Last month Saudi beheaded 38 Shia Muslims without a fair and just trial. Put their heads on pikes for all to see.

Israel too sponsors its own terrorism.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

@rlperez: Starving a nation into subservience, into submission is war.

This is a rationale for not opposing any nation that engages in state sponsored aggression.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

The CIA also sponsors terrorism. A couple of days, Iran executed a defense official who was a CIA spy.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

The New York Times reported that on Thursday night Trump had ordered attacks on Iranian targets in retaliation for the shooting down of a US military drone, but then abruptly changed his mind and cancelled the order.

Trump is indecisive and everyone is calling his bluff. Threatens Mexican tariffs and signing within the week. Hes not going to get far with China.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

They would have done it anyway, no one told the Iranians even now to do what they are doing, they could have shown the world we will not move forward and enrich uranium and fire up our centrifuges

They did that for about a year. Did you expect them to keep honoring a deal that Trump pulled out of while Trump was engaging in economic warfare with sanctions? Seems illogical. I pull out of the deal but it’s your fault for not continuing it while I hurt you?

I’m just happy that deal was torn to pieces. Lol

Then be happy with the results. Iran will start enriching again and we are close to a conflict. Congrats on getting what you wanted.
