Boeing has far too much influence in DC.

And Trump appointed a 'former' Boeing exec.

Would rightists who use the term 'socialism' to describe government programs they disapprove of call the billions Boeing makes off the taxpayers 'socialism'? I call it socialism for the rich.

The govt doesn't own Boeing. If it did, then THAT would be socialism for that 1 company. There are others in similar industries, so it woudn't be socialism. How does that matter at all?
Who should be appointed to head the FAA? It is a former Delta exec. It isn't like there are lots of people with the required experience everywhere. Read that Trump wanted his B757 pilot to be the FAA head. That wouldn't be good.
Being too chummy with the people/companies your department is tasked to oversee is a bad situation, especially when human lives are in the balance. Politicians interfering with investigations is about the only thing which is worse.
