I sure hope you are incorrect but I'm not at all confident you are.
It seems that Donny is fixin to whip up a national emergency to deal with in time for the election cycle.
Donny creates an uneccessary problem, claims it was created by Obama, "fixes" it, and his über ignorant, barely literate base goes wild. It's Don's M.O.

Well then, all we need now is Bruce Willis, space aliens and the 5th Element.

Some have postulated that the attack in Yemen is for US bases for an upcoming war with Iran so they won’t have to have bases in Saudi Arabia. However, I do not see the US starting a fighting war with Iran, economic war only. They want Deep State want Iran to fire the first shot which they won’t IMO.

The terms of the nuke deal with Iran included provisions mandating Iran to ship used uranium fuel and heavy water out of the country. Earlier this week, the U.S. imposed new sanctions that forbid international shippers to deal with Iran, making their compliance with the deal impossible.
Dear Mike Pompeo,
You know what would work to prevent Iran from having nukes? A multi-country agreement to lift sanctions and open up trade, in exchange for Iran not enriching anymore uranium for weaponry.
Which of course is exactly what we had — and it worked (thanks Obama!) until Trump abandoned it.
Your boss is making the world less safe because he doesn’t know how to make deals, he only knows how to break America’s promises.
Sincerely,
America
