President Trump is taking care of Iran like a boss. MAGA!

Like a moron.

Usually I refuse to call a statement like this a threat if it includes a defensive "if". But "if it touches anything American" is far too thin a statement and leaves no room for Iran to even defend itself. He might as well have said "if you push me back for punching you in the face." All the credit I can give Trump is that at least he is making it clear that the U.S. government is the biggest threat to world peace in existence rather than trying to hide it like Obama.

cla68: yeah, well, no...

A few days ago, he gives the order for an attack.

He cancels this attack a few minutes before it is carried out because of the projected number of Iranian casualties.

Now he doesn't care anymore and threatens "obliteration".

Apparently that's what being "stable" means nowadays.

13 ( +14 / -1 )

Iran says there is no point negotiating with Washington when it has abandoned a deal that was already reached.

Nutshell. Why would any nation, or any person for that matter, trust a single thing Trump says, especially when he's backed (fronted?) by neo-cons like Pompeo and Bolton, each a tool of big oil corporations, the military-industrial complex and Wall Street, in addition to being tools for a couple of manipulative nations.

10 ( +11 / -1 )

"Obliteration" isn't a word to use when seeking talks which Iran said yesterday Trump is a liar and does not want talks.

13 ( +14 / -1 )

Trump is a liar and does not want talks.

That Trump is a liar is undeniable. Even his hardest core backers acknowledge his dishonesty, justifying it (father born in Germany, inauguration attendance, Stormy Daniels, etc. etc. etc.) by saying everyone lies. Which is just more evidence of their lack of ethics and morality.

Who, however, knows if he wants 'talks'. It could be even Trump has come to realize he's in so far over his head that any time he's involved in 'talks' beyond tweets that he just makes an even bigger fool of himself. And his hardest core followers.

President Trump is taking care of Iran like a boss. MAGA!

As long as Iran doesn’t go nuts and targets American interests or tries to kill Americans, they don’t have to worry about anything. They will just have to worry about getting financially squeezed and to make it as painful as possible.

-14 ( +1 / -15 )

So, we've gone from open dialogue, compliance with the JCPOA and no nuclear Iran to this in the space of a couple of months. All because Trump tore up a deal because it was created by a black man that mocked him once.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

When Trump was elected, a majority of Americans were forced to confront the question; how dangerous will this be?

Well, now we know. Someone with the understanding of a fifth grader, being led by the triumvirate of far right nuts, taking us down the path to another middle east war.

Trump and his cabal of Neocons haven't the intelligence to understand that Iran is a country led by both moderate and conservative factions - and by undercutting the moderates, they just strengthen the Ayatollah and his other far-right crazies. "Look, the Americans just said they will obliterate us, no use to make a deal with them"...

I guess it shouldn't be surprising, US far right crazies aiding and abetting Iran's far right crazies...

9 ( +11 / -2 )

Yesterday, Trump claimed, MIGA or "Make Iran Great Again."

Truth is, since the end of WW2 and the constant meddling of America in Persia backing the brutal Shah of Persia and is brutal secret police life in Iran has never been that great. The revolution was a reaction to the Shah.

America continues to meddle. Last week Iran executed a CIA spy found in its defense dept.

Trump wants a regime change but is happy to keep the other barbaric one in Saudi solely because of the high level of American weapons it buys.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

Trump is pretty lost on this one. My guess is that Iran will start enriching again and Trump's utter incompetence will be on full display for the world to see

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Iran is a far different entity to Iraq. It's people are cultured, warm and welcoming and naturally, they will be the ones who bear the brunt of any actions, military or economic. The latest sanctions against the Ayatollah, as pointed out, will have very little impact on him.

President Trump is taking care of Iran like a boss. MAGA!

What on earth does this actually mean, though? Like a crime boss?

10 ( +10 / -0 )

Sorry, I must clarify, of course Iraqi people are decent as well & suffered greatly from the illegal invasion.

11 ( +12 / -1 )

When Trump was elected, a majority of Americans were forced to confront the question; how dangerous will this be?

If it were the majority of Trump would have thought the man was dangerous he would have never won or even came close to winning.

Well, now we know. Someone with the understanding of a fifth grader, being led by the triumvirate of far right nuts, taking us down the path to another middle east war.

In other words, Democrats could never come up with strong fisted approach it would take to halting this regime from acquiring the Iranians from enriching uranium.

Trump and his cabal of Neocons haven't the intelligence to understand that Iran is a country led by both moderate and conservative factions -

The “conservative” factions are the ones that call all the shots and are out of control and that want to destroy the US, Israel and SA.

and by undercutting the moderates, they just strengthen the Ayatollah and his other far-right crazies. "Look, the Americans just said they will obliterate us, no use to make a deal with them"...

Oh, please, the Ayatollah is already strengthened and supported by the revolutionary Guard, if change will come to that country it has to be completely internal and we, the US can support and push the moderates from the sidelines.

I guess it shouldn't be surprising, US far right crazies aiding and abetting Iran's far right crazies.

And the Democrats solution to everything, leave things the way they are and don’t spoil any business deals we might make, because Money is important to us, even though we like to tax you on it.

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

In other words, Democrats could never come up with strong fisted approach it would take to halting this regime from acquiring the Iranians from enriching uranium.

There was this thing, let's call it a deal, but the Trump administration welched on it.

The Iranians are, in effect, free to do what they like now.

If that annoys the Great Satan, so what?

Well. The US has spread itself very, very thinly over various war/conflict zones. This will ultimately backfire and spell the end of the American empire. Unfortunately, many innocent lives will be lost.

The “conservative” factions are the ones that call all the shots and are out of control and that want to destroy the US, Israel and SA.

You might as well be talking about the conservative factions in the Trump administration. They are dividing the US and goading Palestine into a new intifada. Not sure why they are trying to arm the nation that sponsored 9/11, though.

Trump claimed he don't need permission from congress to go to war. He said he don't need them.

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Israel surrenders its nuclear weapons in return for American cover. Iran gives up its nuclear weapons program in return for Russian cover. Saudi returns its nuclear weapons to Pakistan.

Trump declares the Middle East a nuclear free zone and he's a winner along with the rest of the world.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Iran is a far different entity to Iraq. It's people are cultured, warm and welcoming and naturally,

That has nothing to do with the crazy Mullahs? Everyone in American knows the Iranians are good people, I grew up with Iranians across from my hometown, love them, but the Mullahs is an entirely different story.

they will be the ones who bear the brunt of any actions, military or economic.

Sadly, yes. That’s why it’s a great opportunity for them to rise up and put these Mullahs down and out.

The latest sanctions against the Ayatollah, as pointed out, will have very little impact on him.

That’s entirely not true, if they weren’t, Iran under no circumstances would they threaten or even take a hostile position towards the US, they would shrug it off, but they’re not, they’re livid, so I do and pray the US squeezes them dry, better than a full scale war.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

That has nothing to do with the crazy Mullahs?

Listening to comments from both sides, it is clear that the crazies are on the US side, especially when listening to Trump, Pompeo, and Bolton.

Iran which condemned fresh U.S. sanctions on Tehran as "mentally retarded."

Yes, very much so.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

There was this thing, let's call it a deal, but the Trump administration welched on it.

With good reason.

The Iranians are, in effect, free to do what they like now.

They always were, always have been. A piece of paper wasn’t going to change that. Why liberals always fall for that.

If that annoys the Great Satan, so what?

Vice versa, the deal is ripped, don’t like it, so what and on top of that, you’re getting docked with more sanctions, harder hitting, painful.

Well. The US has spread itself very, very thinly over various war/conflict zones. This will ultimately backfire and spell the end of the American empire. Unfortunately, many innocent lives will be lost.

God, if I could get a dollar for every time I heard that funny statement...lol

You might as well be talking about the conservative factions in the Trump administration. They are dividing the US and goading Palestine into a new intifada. Not sure why they are trying to arm the nation that sponsored 9/11, though.

Mr. President, please be quiet. You're a complete embarrassment.

Mr. President, please be quiet. You're a complete embarrassment

I beg to differ, I think he doesn’t quite go far enough IMHO.

-9 ( +2 / -11 )

Where is the wisdom of our elders?

6 ( +6 / -0 )

When Trump was elected, a majority of Americans were forced to confront the question; how dangerous will this be?

If it were the majority of Trump would have thought the man was dangerous he would have never won or even came close to winning.

You forget 45 million Americans were able to be duped so convincingly by Putin and his interference campaign. So now we have pulled out of an IRBM treaty with Russia, pulled out of the Iran Treaty, engaged in kindergarten level diplomacy with nKorea, and insulted out friends and allies. All while Trump licks Putin's boots.

No, no other words for the Neocons marching to another middle east war...

Trump and his cabal of Neocons haven't the intelligence to understand that Iran is a country led by both moderate and conservative factions -

The “conservative” factions are the ones that call all the shots and are out of control and that want to destroy the US, Israel and SA.

And Trump just supported their efforts to marginalize the moderates who want more open contact with the west. It looks like he's in partnership with them - a "conservative" partnership? Maybe Cohen talked to the mullahs about a Trump Tower Tehran...

and by undercutting the moderates, they just strengthen the Ayatollah and his other far-right crazies. "Look, the Americans just said they will obliterate us, no use to make a deal with them"...

Oh, please, the Ayatollah is already strengthened and supported by the revolutionary Guard, if change will come to that country it has to be completely internal and we, the US can support and push the moderates from the sidelines.

Oh please, Trump undercut and marginalized the moderates by pulling out of the treaty they brokered and with all the "obliterate" rhetoric. He's in cahoots with his fellow far right crazies in Iran.

I guess it shouldn't be surprising, US far right crazies aiding and abetting Iran's far right crazies.

And the Democrats solution to everything, leave things the way they are and don’t spoil any business deals we might make, because Money is important to us, even though we like to tax you on it.

Comedy day today, huh? Money is more important to Democrats? The Top 1% and Wall St fat cats got a good laugh out of that one, as they count their Repub tax cut windfall.

Trump is pretty lost on this one.

Nah, actually he's handled Iran brilliantly, quite possibly preventing a nuclear war. Yeah, SuperLib, that's right, you can still live to keep harping on Trump, thanks to Trump.

Some reporters were asking him if he has an exit strategy. They're still mad he didn't order an attack and kill some Iranians.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

if he has an exit strategy?

He don't even have an entry strategy!

Can't go to war so his hands are tied and only if he could tape up his mouth too.

The majority of American don't support war knowing the war two cost $6 trillion, 25% of the current National Debt.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

bass: Democrats could never come up with strong fisted approach it would take to halting this regime from acquiring the Iranians from enriching uranium.

The Democrats already stopped Iran's enrichment. Under Trump, Iran is threatening to start it again.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

He don't even have an entry strategy!

That's good for the world, right?

The Democrats already stopped Iran's enrichment.

No, they didn't. Oh my...

https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2019/06/11/world/iran-accelerated-enrichment-uranium-iaea-says/#.XRLpEq9R3IU

-9 ( +1 / -10 )

The Democrats already stopped Iran's enrichment.

The Iranian Nuclear Deal wasn't just Obama/America.

The agreed plane was by all the EU countries, Russia and China and the UN.

The Iranians were allowed to have 300 kg non weapons grade uranium for the development of nuclear energy. They have started enriching more uranium because of Trump's withdrawal from the agreement but its not weapons grade.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Serrano: No, they didn't. Oh my...

That article is from two weeks ago. Obama stopped it, Trump got it started again. Not productive.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Iran is perfectly correct, when is trump going to admit that he & America is.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

The mullahs and Trump are playing a public chess game, and the corporate globalist media report on it is tic-tac-to. Embarrassing.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

It is not just nuclear weapons that Trump wants to stop but ALL weapons. The US want to disarm all nations so they can continue its domination and dictatorship without resistance. Don't forget: America First, to hell with the rest, let them suffer.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

The mullahs and Trump are playing a public chess game, and the corporate globalist media report on it is tic-tac-to. Embarrassing.

The mullahs are playing checkers. Trump is playing 4D chess. There's only one outcome, and it will probably take more than one term.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Sad thing is Iran is right...

7 ( +8 / -1 )

@ Crazy Joe. Who's the black man? You mean a bi-racial man. Or are you one of those that still call Chinese yellow and native Americans, red

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

With good reason.

The reason being PNAC hawks whispering in his ear and his hatred of anything Obama achieved. And his irrational hatred is causing instability, not just in that region.

They always were, always have been. A piece of paper wasn’t going to change that. Why liberals always fall for that.

You'd have to ask a liberal. There's more to politics and one's outlook than just conservative/liberal. Must this always be pointed out to you?

Vice versa, the deal is ripped, don’t like it, so what and on top of that, you’re getting docked with more sanctions, harder hitting, painful.

So what? Families, children, farmers, taxi drivers, nurses, doctors, boat builders, musicians - all people like anywhere else in the world. Conflict and sanctions will destroy their lives and have little effects on the rulers.

God, if I could get a dollar for every time I heard that funny statement...lol

Perhaps you might wish to read some history? Not just about the rise and fall of empires and tyrants but also about what happens when the people revolt. Fascinating reading. And not at all funny.

Liberals feeding mustard seeds to the roaming unicorns once again in the Unicornverse.

That's not answering my statement, it's name calling, which I believe you're strongly against.
