Crazy people find all sorts of ways to kill other humans.

Putin never seems to think about WHY Russia has so much trouble joining "Western Civilization." Hint: invading your neighbors and annexing their lands...

I don't quite understand the idea of the UN setting up an enquiry until the OPCW has completed its investigation.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Well America tried but Russia blocked this reasonable resolution in the UNSC, so this has cleared the way for strikes against Syria, so good news!

No one besides true morons and useful idiots believe Russia’s comically inept claims, which also raises questions about the quality and competence of their culture once again

When the US cast its veto on the more reasonable Russian proposal, the Russians put forth what the Swiss saw as reasonable, and the US vetoed that, too.

April 3rd

Trump announces to reporters, it's time to get out of Syria while telling his generals that they could only stay for months only, if needed, not more.

April 7th

Assad decides to use chemical weapons on civilians which would obviously alter any plans of the US leaving.

yeah right

And people believe this?

for once I agree with you

Here is the statement from the Syrian Ambassador at the end of the UNSC meeting. He brings up the west's history of lies and important relevant facts about the current situation in Syria.

I just don't for it, what Bashir Assad has done wrong from the begining? He is the sole legitimate government in syria!

If they were used by insurgents, then they probably came from America.

... or from Israel, or Turkey, or Saudi Arabia, or ...

when trump strikes syria in the next 72 hours (relying on the fact that commercial airlines in the area have been told to keep away) i hope he doesn't kill Russians, because Putin is no weakling.

What are you talking about people? if the US and Russia clash in Syria, then this will mean the beginning of the third world war. The humanity will remember the horrors of war/.......but now nuclear war. We should safe our children........Stop Trump........The UN must help us!

It’s as equally plausible that the whole thing was staged as it is that Russia did it and is just pretending they are innocent again like they always do.

Stop Trump

And Putin.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Russia is trying their best to clean up the Syria mess since it's their backyard. The US has their abc to xyz plans to keep it from happening. The question isn't whether the US will come up with new plans but how will Putin respond to those incoming new plans. Trump found out how naive he really is and realized how his commander in chief title really didn't mean a whole lot.

US vetoed in support of Israel on several times despite Israel is the worst human rights abuser in the ME for several decades and allegedly supported state terrorism in other nations. Assad's regime may be liable for crimes committed but Western nations are not genuine or honest either.

Western nations' credibility is tarnished by "Double standard policies" and "Supporting oppressive puppet regimes" and not standing firm on human rights and rule of law. Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia War crimes tribunal convicted former US President George Bush and former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair but they are free from accountability as they were leaders of US and UK. WMD lies and fabrication by Western allies virtually destroyed Iraq and Libya and they want to destroy Syria but face strong opposition by brave Putin who gave asylum to Edward Snowden. An evil challenging another evil!

God bless victims and destroy evils!

There is a good balanced article on the BBC which keeps its focus on the situation informatively without getting into slanging matches.

If the US hits Russian and Iranian bases and both hit back. This can easily get out of hand leading to the 2nd Nuclear War.

@ YuriOtani

This can easily get out of hand leading to the 2nd Nuclear War.

When was the 1st Nuclear War? :)

0 ( +0 / -0 )

@ Netgrump WWII should be known as the 1st nuclear war since the USA used 2 of these weapons on Japan.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

After a proper nuclear war, (not a hybrid one-sider) how could there be another one?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

@ YuriOtani

I knew that you would come with this answer, but a war on nuclear level is when 2 or more sides are using these weapons.

Yet it means the USA has no trouble killing hundreds of thousands of civilians at a time. Other countries have taken note of this fact. How many innocent civilians did America kill in Iraq and Syria? Now the peace of the world is threatened by the USA as in an attack upon Iranian and Russian forces. Trump is going to let the deaths of a hundred or so people to be an excuse for war. The Americans may even launch an all out first strike against Iran or Russia. The Russians may even believe they are under attack and launch first. What will be the death count in the second nuclear war? Understand this, if the Iranian and Russian forces are hit, they will hit back. Then everyone's fat could be in the resulting fire.
