A spokesperson for the foundation run by Zuckerberg and Chan confirmed that the couple is not funding election offices this year.

Bet they fund 2024. They know this year is a lost cause.

How about confirming that they will never fund election offices again?

Great!

Just call this another MAGA H&H - hilarious and hypocritical....

Zuckerberg using his free speech rights (remember Repub cause celebre Citizen's United?) to help election offices to allow people to vote....is bad...

Yet Don Jr texting numerous ways to overthrow a free and fair election while the votes were still being counted, Trump telling the Georgia Sec of State to "find 11,700 votes", and Giuliani making up fraudulent state electors with fake election certification lists...is OK...

Welcome to MAGA-world....

Zuckerberg using his free speech rights (remember Repub cause celebre Citizen's United?) to help election offices to allow people to vote....is bad...

So then you have no problem with the Koch brothers doing the same for the GOP. The best thing for a media mogul like Zuckerberg is to stay neutral and stay out of politics or just register his company as a news outlet source then no problem.

After November that argument will be another howl at the wind because the nation could care less about any of this.

On the contrary, I think all "dark money" should be out of politics. Repubs supported Citizens United which allows rich individuals like Zuckerberg and big corporations to flood politics with money. You can't be for Citizens United and at the same time against Zuckerberg's contributions....unless you're a MAGA-hypocrite...

Oh I think all Americans care when they see direct evidence of an attempted coup and subversion of democracy and our Constitution....even if you don't...

Still waiting for an explanation of those "fraudulent electors" and "fake, illegitimate certification lists"....

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

On the contrary, I think all "dark money" should be out of politics. Repubs supported Citizens United which allows rich individuals like Zuckerberg and big corporations to flood politics with money.

..and Democrats seemed elated when they found out that the majority of donations and stifling conservative opposition speech since it benefited their party. The very definition of hypocrisy.

Oh I think all Americans care when they see direct evidence of an attempted coup

Sorry, they don’t, look at every poll as to what Americans care about and Biden gets a straight up failing grade.

When it come to:

Approve

Crime: 39%

Immigration 38%

Economy 37%

Inflation 31%

Disapproval for this guy hovers around 61-69%

and subversion of democracy and our Constitution....

Hardly, if the Dems truly cared about Democracy in the constitution, they would veitmently object to Twitter and every other social media outlet snuffing out opposition speech from conservatives, if they cared about the constitution then they would not try to subvert for their political gain.

Democracy in US formula.

-oil money

-weapons money

-big tech money

So, you for Citizens United? But against Zuckerberg doing what Citizens United says is his free speech right?

Explain that...

Oh I think all Americans care when they see direct evidence of an attempted coup

Sorry, they don’t, look at every poll as to what Americans care about and Biden gets a straight up failing grade.

Ah, today must be "I believe in polls day"....last week it was "polls are useless"....

and subversion of democracy and our Constitution....

Hardly,

Yes, it is hard getting you to explain "fraudulent electors" and "fake certification lists"....

So explain those to us...

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

So, you for Citizens United? But against Zuckerberg doing what Citizens United says is his free speech right?

I think all of these social media guys should stay out of politics, just register as a political outlet and a source for political news and operation, then fine.

.

Ah, today must be "I believe in polls

Personally, when Dems ignore all of these polls especially the left loving polls as to the imminent demise of the Democrat party is on its way.

OK, so you're against Citizens United and think its wrong - and that all individuals don't have a right to exercise free speech by donating to politics. Nice to see you so vehemently disagreeing with your conservative compatriots...

Ah, today must be "I believe in polls

Personally, when Dems ignore all of these polls especially the left loving polls as to the imminent demise of the Democrat party is on its way.

Sure, and tomorrow "polls are useless"....

Still waiting - "fraudulent electors" and "fake certification lists" - explain those....

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

OK, so you're against Citizens United and think its wrong -

As usual you’re focusing on one issue that you only care about, I’m focusing on the bigger issue at hand for the entire nation and I have said it repeatedly about what Zuckerberg should do, if he wants to be an remain neutral

Sure, and tomorrow "polls are useless"....

For Democrats trying to better themselves into save themselves, they should be useful, but they never listen, that helps the Republicans without a doubt.

If Rich conservative guy funds “election offices” I think liberals wouldn’t be as understanding.

You said Zuckerberg shouldn't contribute to politics....yet Citizens United says all citizens have a right to contribute. Therefore, you're against Citizens United - a core conservative initiative. We got it...

Sure, and tomorrow "polls are useless"....

For Democrats trying to better themselves into save themselves, they should be useful, but they never listen, that helps the Republicans without a doubt.

Useful today, useless tomorrow - it's all in your archive....

Fourth time: "fraudulent electors" and "fake certification lists" - explain those....

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

So then you have no problem with the Koch brothers doing the same for the GOP.

There are no Koch brothers any more. One of them is dead.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

You said Zuckerberg shouldn't contribute to politics....

I was very clear on that as the CEO of Facebook.

Useful today, useless tomorrow - it's all in your archive....

Not when it came to 2011, 2014 and this upcoming winter.

Isn't this interesting....

Repubs Mike Pompeo and Tim Scott have established PACs - for a possible 2024 run....

*Pompeo’s Champion American Values Fund and the Scott-aligned Opportunity Matters Network, which also formed in 2021, have yet to make any filings detailing their size. But the Scott-aligned group has taken in $650,000 from its sister group, a super PAC funded by donors including tech billionaire Larry Ellison, according to the super PAC’s campaign finance disclosures. Scott’s political operation declined to comment on its activity.*

Well, well, so Repub Tim Scott's PAC has accepted big money from tech billionaire Larry Ellison...

OK, given their comments above regarding Zuckerberg, standing by for our conservative posters to denounce this...

Or will we see anther example of MAGA-hypocrisy...

ou said Zuckerberg shouldn't contribute to politics....

And has no free speech right as guaranteed by Citizens United - we got it - you're oppose Citizens United...

Hmm...Pompeo doesn't oversee or power of having the largest social media platform on Earth.

Well, well, so Repub Tim Scott's PAC has accepted big money from tech billionaire Larry Ellison...

Again, if Zuckerberg steps down from his company, endorse whomever you want. Then you don't need to be neutral.

OK, given their comments above regarding Zuckerberg, standing by for our conservative posters to denounce this...

Or will we see anther example of MAGA-hypocrisy...

No hypocrisy, just want to see fairness and if liberal policies are so great then why do the liberals have to block opposing conservative points of view? Either they are for free speech or not. Just be honest and say it,

And has no free speech right as guaranteed by Citizens United

I am talking about Zuckerberg.

Donation to preferred candidates is not the same thing, clearly. that’s not what zuckerberg did though, is it?

But keep on obsessing.

Indeed, that sure isn't "Truth Social"...

OK, but Citizens United says ANY CITIZEN can contribute whatever job they have - which in your own words you clearly disagree with...just like the Dems...

No hypocrisy, just want to see fairness and if liberal policies are so great then why do the liberals have to block opposing conservative points of view?

Both Zuckerberg and Ellison are "tech billionaires", so you obviously condemn Tim Scott for taking Ellison's money, right?

And has no free speech right as guaranteed by Citizens United

I am talking about Zuckerberg.

I know - which you say has no right to free speech as outlined in Citizens United....

Sixth time:  "fraudulent electors" and "fake certification lists" - explain those....

Indeed, that sure isn't "Truth Social"...

As they work out the bugs and the fact that more people signed up than anticipated they have to go back readjust and fix the system to handle all that load. Kinda like when the ACA system crashed at its original signup date. Give it time, it’ll get there.

so you obviously condemn Tim Scott for taking Ellison's money, right?

Do they own a social media platform??? Either Zuckerberg resigns or declares Facebook as a political partisan operation or clarifies his statement as a social media platform.

Then why is Trump already abandoning it and going to Getter?

Ellison provides the tech that runs social media platforms - he's a "tech billionaire".... So why is it OK for him to donate but not Zuckerberg?

Wish you were this vocal against Citizens United when it was being decided in the Supreme Court...

Seventh time: "fraudulent electors" and "fake certification lists" - explain those....

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

The biggest bug in Truth Social is Trump. It ain't goin' nowhere.

Conservatives thought the same about the ACA

Then why is Trump already abandoning it and going to Getter?

He’s not and he doesn’t have to hold its hand, he has a large staff to do that for him.

Ellison provides the tech that runs social media platforms - he's a "tech billionaire".... So why is it OK for him to donate but not Zuckerberg?

Ellison is NOT Zuckerberg who has a direct say into HAL and what flies at Facebook and what doesn’t, try again.

In the IT world working out, the bugs mean days or weeks but never months.

No, it depends and seeing that they were just so many people trying to sign on in the system crashed they might have to redo the system to accommodate all the subscribers, kind of like 5G as fast as it supposed to be if there a lot of people using it at one time it slows down quite significantly.

Trump's Social Truth has failed since day 1

Happens to many businesses at lunch

and now he's losing interest

The media keeps peddling that fib we know.

Seventh time: "fraudulent electors" and "fake certification lists" - explain those....

Amazing that you get to be this repetitive and obsessive.

but then again it’s Trump criticism which is always welcomed here freely and often as possible.
