Posted in: N Korea fires ballistic missile; Japan retracts take-cover alert See in context

It was unclear why Japan issued the order for a missile that didn't fall near the island, but the incident suggested it was being cautious about North Korea's evolving missile threats.

Alarmists trying to cause confusion, uncertainity, and propagating propagandas. Or some dude was just busy sleeping at work, they thought they saw it heading for Japan, went on to press the alarm button.

Most Government Buildings like city halls, Driving Schools, Public Universities etc allow outsiders to come grab a meal at their Shokudos. I thought this wasn't a secret. If it was then they just hid it from Japan Today people. Congratulations to the unveiling then .

Posted in: Abe's controversial state funeral may backfire on Kishida See in context

It's high time people realize that the Japanese government is a Dictatorship. Protests in Japan are always meaningless, useless & toothless. All forms of protests in Tokyo are always monitored by the heavy presence of police. That's not a favor from the government. That's how a dictatorial government shows you that we have you in our pockets.

Gov't to pursue U.S. base relocation in Okinawa despite Tamaki's win

Denny Tamaki has always an easy campaigning and winning theme. "Remove US Bases from Okinawa" The local older generation which actually votes hates the bases. So it's a sure Job for him.

The younger generation does not even care. They enjoy dating dem military goons and Jugheads. The economy of okinawa literally depends on these military bases. So to think Kishida will support the removal of the military bases from these Islands is a fantasy.

Posted in: Japan honors Abe with highest decoration; wake held in Tokyo See in context

Ikeda said at a press conference that he suspects the imperial couple may be feeling extremely sorry and heartbroken about Abe's death, and concerned about the bereaved family.

The fact that the whole nation is mourning the tragic death of the Ex-PM Shinzo is in itself testimony to fact that the imperial couple shares the same emotion of loss and pain. To say you suspect them to be heartbroken sounds a bit disrespectful/ if not wrong/ unfair to them. They are mourning with everyone!

Posted in: Man arrested after taking woman hostage in Saitama internet cafe See in context

This story has many holes in it. Firstly it might be how hastily this article is written or there is something going on between the staff and this man. The girl visited the room to clean it?, Serve food?, alcohol? Then after 5 minutes another staff calls the police? Why? Girl visit a room, and then police is immediately called? Guy refuses to open door for 4 hours. Something fishy is going on here or someone was being set up. Usually those who set you up use younger girls.............. and the rest you know!

The Sacred Forest is home to a whole bunch of other things to see as well, such as this statue of Myoken Bosatsu, also known as the God of the North Star. The statue was created in 1301 by the order of a Buddhist priest and was designated as an Important Cultural Property in 1950.

Add a bit of shady history to it, and boom Japan will be already making submissions to UNESCO for this place to designated as a world heritage site!
