@DaDude... that's what bothers me about this. An eleven year old girl is not stupid and would not go off with a stranger... especially one her mother warned her about (Silver car). I am left to wonder who else knew that her mother was not going to pick her up that day! I also can't fathom a Japanese eleven year old girl walking alone.

@Lowly! Thank you! Someone with plenty of time on their hands to wait for the opportunity... someone who is unemployed... and lives alone!

I have a question... how many people would have known that her mother was not going to pick her up that one day?

Sounds more like a college prank. A frat will have people do this for points... but usually the girl is in on it and also belongs to a club. I went to Indiana University in Bloomington. Party cap of the world! This sort of stuff happened every night.
I think maybe he was supposed to chase down 'another' girl instead of this one.
Now we have two people involved!
"Somebody", who knows who what when where and why this happened, and we have "nobody" who is saying nothing!

"re tramazided"! happens all the time. Something bad probably did happen to her before and something about the bus ride itself reminded her of that experience.
I am glad an innocent man was cleared.

@UK9393 if Japantimes is correct about the GPS for the GPS to move that quickly she had to be on a train!

Nakasho Elementary School in Kurashiki. The Sanyo Main line runs by the school both ways. This article also contradicts Japantoday which has the info that her GPS on the cell phone indicated she was headed in the opposite direction. This article seems to assess that she was very close to her own home. Why not chase both ends of this?

Japantimes has quite a lot more critical info. Her phone's GPS indicated that she was headed in the opposite direction from her route she uses to go from school to her house... . Also, the phone may not be shut off... it may simply be out of range of where they are looking. I wonder if she simply got on the wrong bus?

Tisk tisk! Hama's already asked the question of how the world would respond to a Palestinian teen being murdered one week ago. Actually, the Hamas asked how the world would respond to 3 Palestinian teens being killed. So technically we still need to find two more bodies.

Not enough info in this story. Maybe it was a groundhog that killed the cat. They do feed on domestic animals. As sick as it sounds the raccoon will rip the head offs its prey and leave the head while eating the rest of the body. If they really want to find the body of the poor cat then they need to dig! Raccoons hide their "winnings" underground.

This is so sad. He said he was sorry! 20 years for this is ludicrous. Let the flight attendant punch him back for about ten minutes and call it even.
Better yet, how about making him a into flight attendant. Make him deal with other rude people who choose to fly.

Why does he feel he needs to do this in the first place? He has a job... a good job with a uniform and makes a decent living. Then again, Elvis used to use this tactic. He would set up fake fights and he would always win. This was all done to impress a new girl.
Throw stones at me for saying this if you must, but I think the cop deserves a promotion! All guys are stalkers... some are just more sloppy. He can improve his methods.
