Is this even possible? I thought Japan couldn't even have an army or navy...just security forces and a coast guard. How would nuclear arms fit into that?

Wait a minute. Are we talking about Israelis or Jews? Jews are followers of Judaism while Israelis are residents of the nation of Israel, and the writer appears to be using the two interchangeably.

These islands obviously belong to Japan, China is just instigating the matter.

This could just be a speech to slap sense into his team, like a football coach would give to his team in America. If you take everything you hear at face value, you just end up with a misconstrued view of the world.

Posted in: Baby dead 'for a day' as mother chats on Internet forums See in context
Yumiko Takahashi knew that 19-month-old Neo was running a high fever when she checked on him on the afternoon of June 24 last year but left him lying on his bed untended, police said.
It sounds like there are two victims: one an innocent baby boy neglected by his mother and the second the mother herself, a victim of internet addiction, lost to a world of zero responsibility and no ties to her own real world. It can happen to anyone, especially to someone who had already lost so much.
My thoughts are with her children.

I don't know which is worse: that they did this on purpose or didn't consider the consequences of their actions...they need to be examined.

Posted in: Japan to make illegal downloading of music, videos punishable with jail terms See in context
The new amendment makes illegal downloading truly punishable for the first time. The downloading of copyrighted material without permission has been illegal in Japan since 2009, but as a civil matter, rather than a criminal one.
Good. Now lets get hackers and the people behind the uploading onto the band/prison wagon.

I love androgyny. Give me gender ambiguous musicians any day. He's a very attractive kid, whether looking at him as a boy or girl, and I think that's awesome.
First I hope your under 18...and two that sounds wrong.

"It found that the light yellow beads were made with natron, a chemical used to melt glass by craftsmen in the empire, which succeeded the Roman Republic in 27 BC and was ultimately ended by the Fall of Constantinople in 1453.
The beads, which have a hole through the middle, were made with a multilayering technique—a relatively sophisticated method in which craftsmen piled up layers of glass, often sandwiching gold leaf in between."
Then only one question remains; how did the Japanese steal them when they clearly rack disciprine?
