That is definitely on my list of top 3 WORST ways to day. RIP Mr. Hayakawa. There has to be so much more to the background of this story though. What sort of "loud noises" were heard by the neighbors?

This is sad, even more sad is that incidents like this are common where I use to live. Utah has many of these a year. People need to be very aware of their surroundings when small kids and cars are involved. I don't know if this father will ever get over this tragic incident, RIP to the little girl. Heart goes out to the family.

Maybe a disgruntled recently fired employee, that's where I'd put my money. Though perhaps a case of adultery as well? both seem to be common motives in crimes like this.

How is the airline going to know the reason for travel? which airline company agreed to this? How about having more than 2-3 people working the immigration area when you've had 3 flights land within the same hour. Imagine the difference in wait time if twice the workforce was helping 400 people through immigration instead of segregating out a dozen or 2.

A 15-year-old boy does not MURDER HIS OWN MOTHER without a very good reason...
There's something mentally wrong with the boy, unless new evidence shows any form of DV or abuse the boy is most likely not quite right in the head. Sadly this isn't the first, nor will it be the last of these kind of headlines.
RIP to the mother and the family.

Not an impersonator. Like all countries Police officers in Japan are sometimes not cut from the best of clothes, so to speak.

Tokuo Hayakawa, a 76-year-old Buddhist priest who returned to his 600-year-old family temple
Over twice the age of my home country, These places I know are common here in Japan but they still need to be preserved. Where is the effort in getting rid of the sacks of radioactive dirt? What happened to all the clean up effort? this job was half assed from the beginning. For a PM that supposedly only cares for the welfare of his citizens he's sure doing a shit job of showing it.

That is so sad, I hope the parents get more than a slap on the wrist, clearly they didn't want the child and rather than being responsible and putting him up for adoption they just neglect him, I'm surprised the father called the police and didn't just dump the body somewhere. Cowards.

^^WAY off in left field their buddy....
Difficult, even with a trusting partner in marriage there can and often times will always be some doubt and/or jealousy.
Best way I've found is to first introduce the two to each other and maybe see if they hit it off as friends, even if they don't if they see whom you're hanging out with and learn more about them they often times trust you and them more than if it's someone they've never met or had a chance to get to know.

Maybe it was the old man's cellphone in one of those cases that resembles a gun? who knows, I am curious to know the motive behind the attack though, if it was random or politically charged. I'd imagine it would have to be something pretty big to get a 75 year old man worked up like that. Or the attacker is a not in his right mind.

Bosuzoku use to steal the straps and hang underneath their cars, the more strap that drug on the ground due to how low the car sat = more street cred that car had, also the number of straps that drug also increased the cred. Though you can buy those things at places like Yellow Hat and Upgarage these days so I'm surprised to read this.

The guy most likely has a private jet that he abuses and uses for everything, How about addressing how bad the air is since they banned smoking on planes. They use to require an air circulation system that could filter out the smoke and continuously circulate clean air, now that smoking has been banned those systems are no longer present on the planes causing stale, germ ridden air to just ferment in the plane.

I agree Rik314, did the chain not have a break room for employees to eat their meals? But maybe he's just the kind of guy that prefers his own space when eating. I've worked with a few like that. despite having a lunch room they'd rather eat in their cube (which is inconsiderate considering it was a cube farm) or in their own cars.
