Scy Clinton will be pushing this issue during her talks with Okada. In my opinion, if Okinawa/Japan doesn't want the base on their land, then troops should be withdrawn. Why spend all this money overseas when it could be used in our own homeland.

Amazing story! The lady should receive some type of national recognition. It took a lot of courage for her to do what she did. I'm sure there are many people who would have left him fall by turning their backs to the situation.

The bowing of the President was proper. Now, if the Emperor extended his hand out to the President, then I believe both were proper.

President Hu Jintao deserves much credit in dealing with his counterparts. China continues to progress economically. This year China issued 217K visas to people around the world who mostly will be attending events, colleges & Universities. China has loaned much money to various countries in Africa and also within the Asean community. Additionally, Hu Jintao has stated on numerous occasions that he will not interfere in the internal affairs of other sovereign nations.

Clinton should just close her piehole! She is desperate to run for Presidency probably in 2012. She sure hasn't made any friends on her trips around the world except for Israel.

In my opinion, Clinton should never have gotten the post as SOS! Seems she definitely wants to be the next President. Probably can't figure out why she didn't beat Obama out! There will never be peace or a two state solution when the US is so biased with Israel. Then they vote on the Goldstone report that showed photos and documents about the latest war with Palestine & Israel. One would have to be so illiterate to dispute the Goldstone report. Course the US will veto anything that is negative about Israel. Afterall, the Chief of Staff Emanuel served with the Israel military.

I watched the news regarding the arms etc that Israel claims was aboard the ship. My question, why has Israel refused to show the manifest to the news media?

Am I to understand that our drones firing missiles are only killing people that we've targeted? Since Obama administration there have been over 40 drone flights and the biggest majority killed were women and children. I personally think it's time to pack up and leave the country.

The responsibility of inspecting Iran and insuring compliance with the NPT and International law lies in the hands of the IAEA. Even a jesture by Israel will cause the US to continue its attack on Iran. If IAEA states Iran is complying with the NPT, the US still will not be satisfied, yet it was the US who supported Iraq's invasion into Iran. Why hasn't the US admitted Israel has nuclear weapons?

No matter what true facts are presented when it comes to making remarks regarding Israel one is slandered as being "Anti-semetic." There are plenty of discussions found on numerous International TV stations, and in the US "Democracy Now", "Free Speech TV." The US is owned by Israel, so you won't find anything negative in either 4 major channels or print media regarding Israel. The politicians in the US are owned by AIPAC the long arm of Israel. The Palestinians are treated like caged animals.

This could be settled with Israel complying with the UN Resolutions and International Law. Israel believes God gave them the land, but I didn't know that God was in the Realestate business. The Jewish community constantly attempts to remind the world of the holocaust, and I can accept this but unfortunately Israel is doing to the Palestinians what the Nazis did to the Jews.

Has one ever noticed that everytime Israel does ethnic cleansing on its neighbor then one starts to be reminded of the holocaust! This is one way to gain sympathy reminding the world of the holocaust. To me, their current actions are just as wrong as what the Nazis did during the war! It appears if they can't starve them out, then bomb them.

While on R&R back in the early 50s I was fortunate to spend Christmas & New Years in Osaka. The streets were quite decorated and so were the caberets, music blaring Christmas and New Years eve. Probably the most memorable holidays of my life. When on foreign land enjoy it. Be human and not just American.

At one time, I owned a number of American made cars. After 60K miles, I just couldn't pass up a repair shop for one thing or another and it wasn't to visit the owner or mechanic. As a previous owner of Mercedes for over 28 years I decided to purchase a car manufactured elsewhere. I won't come crying to anyone! We happen to have a Toyota and Mitsubishi and damn well proud of both vehicles. The two japanese cars mentioned can get you over 200K without even removing the heads, and very seldom do they sprout oil leaks like the ones manufactured in the US. In my town, a Chev Dealership closed doors on Friday but Toyota and other companies are still opened for business. I'm sure most people want the most bang for the buck regardless of where the item is manufactured.
