It would be a miracle if they survive. Given the weather conditions, time spent underwater, exposure and not to mention the injuries if any. God bless them and all our prayers go out them and their families.

Romney is a tool and a liar. He has a double chinned face and can't deal with reality. Obama is out we all know that and all the other GOP nominees are in favor of screwing the country into more chaos. What we need in the US is better legislation, a stricter government and tougher laws. Once we get that done we would have a better forecast of the country we once knew as the United States of America.

I agree, in that case lets change ALL the prefectures names.... this is the most idiotic thing I have heard. If Ayhe residents from Kagawa ken decide to change it name, then who's next? Nagano, to SobaKen? Tochigi to GyouzaKen? it's sounds silly to me.

They should be court-martialed and imprisoned for this silly crime. 1,000 yen is not worth losing a hard earned career in the military nor losing the trust of your beloved country. If I was in this position I would call my commanding officer and tell him of the predicament. I am sure there is some other way to get to the base.

This is terrible and the longer it takes for the government to order TEPCO to pay, the better for TEPCO. I say it is probably best for these families to start suing them individually instead of union like forces. It makes more sense and takes only one attorney to start the process. From that point it will be a snowball effect.

I agree with you, but the law should be applied and silliness should be set aside. In this case, no one is right.

According to the Law of Japan. According to the Constitution of Japan Chapter 13 Article 94. Local public entities shall have the right to manage their property, affairs and administration and to enact their own regulations within the law. THEN there is something that boggles me about Chapter 3 Article38. No person shall be compelled to testify against himself. (2) Confession made under compulsion, torture or THREAT, or after prolonged arrest or detention SHALL not be admitted in evidence. NO PERSON SHALL BE CONVICTED OR PUNISHED IN CASES WHERE THE ONLY PROOF IS HIS OWN CONFESSION.
If he is smart he would sue the dean involved, I WOULD.
