@lostrune2

Let Dagestan and Chechnya and North Syria have their own states too.

The article is about Ukraine but I agree 100% with what you said, and also add to the list the Palestinians who just have been robbed many acres of land in the West Bank with no call for sanctions like when Crimea joined Russia or "was annexed" depending on which side you are.

@Thunderbird2

This all started because Ukraine wanted closer ties to the EU, nothing to do with America, FizzBit, nothing to do with NATO.

Then they should have waited for the next elections. I doubt the people in Maidan represented the whole Ukrainian people.

@mcLien

Russia is far closer ethnically, historically, linguistically, any-cally you want than US/NATO so yes Russia has business there. I don't remember seeing Russians lawmakers taking part in demonstration in Ukraine or in Ferguson for example so you better say Nulan and the other US lawmakers, Merkel , etc. have no business in Ukraine.

First Crimea, now he wants an autonomous state in what's left of Ukraine

Have you ever considered that maybe that's what the people living there wanted?

You are really naiive if you think that he's going to stop there.

I worry more about the US spreading its tentacles all around the planet and giving its opinion on all countries business without asked, and bombing countries into "democracy".

At this point we might want to consider Putin's mental state.

Yes maybe his case is not as desperate as for the psychotic warmongers in Washington.

Putin won't rest until he has recreated the Soviet Union. The Baltic countries had better watch their backs... and Poland.

You actually believe this? I'm asking seriously, not being sarcastic at all.

Putin said there are no Russian troops there but he never said there are no Russian citizens there. Many Russians and not only Russians many Europeans (Spanish, French , other Slavic nations) have volunteers there. And so far it's easy to accuse without proofs. You guys call Putin a liar, well where are your proofs?

Real feminine women like real masculine men. I doubt any normal woman would like her man to just behave like her. As you said it perfectly if a woman wants a feminine guy , why not just get yourself the original, a woman.

No offense to my Nigerian brothers but we all know in Africa about Nigeria gangs and thugs so calling these bandits "islamists" because some just bla bla some incoherent arabic words and reference to God , Islam, etc. is ridicule.

I don't remember Koni and his LRA thugs being called "christianits" because of there bla bla about Christ, bible , 10 commandments, etc.

“I assure you that Nigeria will be safe again and that these thugs will be driven away. It will not happen overnight, but we will spare no effort to achieve this goal,” Jonathan said.

We believe in you. Nigeria has one of the most powerful army in Africa and surely they can get rid of these thugs without any outside help. So NATO please keep your aid and soldiers away.

Thank you.

never read the original Qu'ran or hadiths have you?

I doubt YOU have.

Ever since 9/11 Islam has been trying hard to whitewash the original text to make it seem like Mo was on the same >level as those two.

Islam has try.., what or who do you mean by Islam? The islamic texts have not been changed at my knowledge so I doubt there was any attempt to alter anything from the original.

Not accordinfg to the Ukranian government.

Which one?

Diplomats in Brussels said EU and Ukrainian leaders would on Friday sign the political portion of a landmark pact whose rejection by Yanukovych in November sparked the protests that led to his fall

In who's name? So non elected leaders will sign some agreement that will tie up a nation? I'm not even Ukrainian but this upsets me.

@Shinjuku

Let me fix for you please.

Imagine the people for Okinawa who are ethnic chinese had voted for Abe in a fair and democratic election and Abe had won. Then some violent protesters from mainland Japan overthrew the democratically elected Abe. Okinawa also had an important chinese base for years. Why should the people from Okinawa wants to remain in a country led by an illegitimate government? They didn't vote for that person who is in Kiev now. They even didn't have a say on this.

@Nadege

This is just journalist playing the political game, instead of doing real journalistic conclusive work. American propaganda have always work that way.

D'accord a 100%, for many american people though it is not propaganda because they are the land of the free , the good guys , the heroes, the best , the greatest country on the earth and that propaganda exists only in 3rd world commies countries, the bad guys, etc.

I would like to know why it is OK in the so called Free World (US and EU) to wait until the next elections or go through proper legal ways to change a president but when it comes to other countries such as Ukraine and Egypt, public riot and mobs are supported by those so called democratic countries?

I thought democracy was about elections and that the majority was supposed to win and not a bunch of unsatisfied people. People are so unhappy with Obama but they still wait for the next elections. The latest elections in Ukraine had no irregularities , that president has been legally and constitutionally elected.
