Posted in: What do you think of all those so-called energy drinks? See in context

I drink them once in a while, but I don't feel the energy buzz that I need... maybe I need more than one at a time. It's better when I have a big nice cup of hot coffee.

Yes I had, because sometimes I spend entire weeks without using them. But I have friends that live in different cities and countries so, I like to stay in touch with them.

I absolutely agree.

@smithinjapan

No suicide watch here? or do they just not care?

Or I wonder if deep inside japanese still give the oportunity of suicide, like in ancient times the "harikiri" was for matters of honor...? (or maybe I'm wrong, it's just a question / point of view).

The song has rhythm, it's catchy, he's funny, he breaks up with "cuteness" standards. At least while this hit is on, I like him!

Posted in: Japan sees surge in aspiring adult film actresses; 6,000 said to debut each year See in context

I don't doubt there are sad women in this bussiness, but some of them really like to be AV actresses. Just face it. If you don't like porn don't watch it, but don't see it like the worse profession either... People should be able to decide their profession without being judged harshly. PS: sorry, but some women DO enjoy some porn once in a while, me included ;P

So sad... I wonder what the boy thinks his little 8-year-old sister did to upset him so much... (although some little siblings are really annoying... I'm not justifying him.)

@Kakukakushikajika:

Why so much hatred towards smokers... Are they running after you holding their smoke in their mouth to spit at your face deliberately, are they offering cigs to your kids, I know smoking is useless as much as eating candy drinking alcohol and enjoying your time on earth. As a smoker I apologize if I am ruining your life and make you spend so much time hating me. Well time for me to burn one ;-) Don't worry I'll die in pain regretting my choices.

May sound awful to some people but Kakukakushikajika is right. I'm an occasional smoker 'cause I want to be. I know the risks and all. If most japanese people fall adictive for this vice isn't really the tobacco brand's fault. May sound awful to you but, pollution kills people too, car accidents, other type of cancer, etc.

FACT: There's people who NEVER smoked and dies of lung cancer. FACT!: There's people who ALAWAYS smoked and perfectly healthy.

It's really a decision of each person. And some of us like to smoke. Sorry!

Also! What's wrong with the system?!? Japanese people do not like to adopt, but they won't allow foreigners to adopt japanese children... -_- so so sad...

Posted in: Body of newborn baby found in Kanagawa river See in context

We could think that is better not to be born at all, instead of ending up un-adopted (and unloved)... But to be born and die on a river, all alone and suffering!! ... that's just not decent.

@Farmboy

She's probably a fine musician, but why would someone trust her taste in perfume? Also, I would think "Wealth" would be more attractive than "Fame."

Maybe she has no taste in perfume, who knows, but most artists have a perfume. So, let her do the same thing. Maybe smells good and maybe not ;)

@Desillusioned

he took his eyes off the road for a second

A second? What exactly was he doing? Texting, reading a newspaper/manga mag, shaving, checking his make up?

Sometimes you're distracted, you have a life of your own and problems... you can't be focused ALL the time... actually when you sneeze you close your eyes and -take the eyes off the road for just a second-. I think it was just an accident, no-one's fault. (Perhaps the parents and the seatbelt negligence..) Anyway, we weren't really there to judge.

They never post the motive and I'd like to know why? why did he do it?... I know it must be a very weird, ridiculous and unbelievable motive, the one this man had, but that would make the article more complete, in my humble opinion.
