Being known as a city that censors speech isn't something to be proud of. Osaka is the worst city in Japan already, don't make it worse.

When the Abe regime starts directly censoring the media, I'll worry. If the media elects to censor itself, I only blame the media.

Posted in: Some fans love Pharrell’s 'It Girl' video; others call him a pedophile See in context
There is no "some" about the first part. MOST people loved it. An overwhelming majority of comments, blog post, and news articles has had nothing but good things to say. I think this is only the 5th out of hundreds of blog post/news sites to mention pedohile? Seems kind of ridiculous to humor the opinion of the small minority. I knew from the first time I saw the video an hour after it was released that this would happen. Let's clear things up now: IT'S NOT PEDOPHILIA! Even of he said he wanted to have sexual contact with her, it still wouldn't be. Why? A pedophile is someone with a primary attraction to children. What is the definition of children? A child. Child? "A person below the age of majority." KEYWORD: PERSON! Not drawing, not person-like, just PERSON. A person is a human. Are Anime characters humans? Nope! So is this pedo? Nope! Move on.

Technically, that isn't hold pornography. It's child erotica at worst...and let's get real: If pedophiles didn't have this garbage, you and I both know that they'd likely seek children around them to satisfy their desires. If Japan's child sexual a use rate goes up over the next few years, it'll be over the silly law prohibiting the simple POSESSION of CP. Sending people to prison for having images and videoes that they didn't make sounds kind of silly, doesn't it?

I have mixed emotions about this. On one hand, it means I pay less for stuff I export from Japan and Japanese companies but on the other hand I'm not particularly happy about that if it means the company I'm buying stuff from suffers. A suffering company either shuts down, drastically increased prices, or stops offering to export stuff.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe needs to resign...again. He is making the Prime Ministers office into a giant international joke. In saying that, South Korea needs to stop complaining about every harmless thing that happens in Japan. WWII is over now, you don't need to be so paranoid about the most peaceful developed nation in the WORLD!

That sign is incredibly silly. One of the reasons is because New Zealand, not the US, is the father of this bill. Another reason is because that is a stupid scare tactic based of no evidence at all. I am not a fan of nationalism, seeing as history proves to us that is leads to nothing but bad news.
