@alongfortheride Have you been there? This museum should be compulsory to visit for any one visiting Japan as an advertisement on why the world does not need nuclear weapons.
I visited the museum in 1980. A good Japanese friend of mine from Hiroshima took me there. Afterwards, we discussed the visit and we both agreed - let's move on. We are all friends now.

Does this museum really serve a useful purpose? By now most people in the world know what the effects of an atomic bomb explosion would result in. It is now nothing more than a tourist attraction..It teaches nothing.

Methinks there is more to this story than what is being reported here.
SoraNews24 always starts with a little lecture, instructing non-Japanese as to what is a so-called Japanese social norm. Then it prints a vague story with no hard facts. Cheap news.

Mainland Americans complain about a supposed "inflation" they had during the last four years. But they don't know what inflation is, yet.
Maybe in the short term there will be a few price rises in the US economy, but I think that it will soon stabilise as US production of steel and aluminium increases.

As Japan's decline accelerates, Japan will, of course, blame everybody else (nobody understands us). Nissan is responsible for any "hazy" future, along with the primitive fit for nothing Japanese legal system and disgusting Nissan management. It is inevitable that Japan's industries will imblode.

While some people are gloating that Nissan stocks have dropped 5%, there are some people buying Nissan stocks on this dip.
Well, good lock to anybody buying Nissan shares, personally I think that Nissan is beyond redemption. I'll stick with decent, honourable companies like Toyota everything that is decent and honourable to the Japanese culture (with the exception of the Japanese legal system).

He should be awarded ¥400 mil in compensation, and surviving law enforcers regarding the case be put on trail themselves.

There has always been violent crime in Japan, nothing really new here. I remember 40 years ago a stabbing murder in a bar in my local area over a baseball match. As for Japan's safety, I would say 8 out of 10.

The article states that the US serviceman has been accused of rape. Under Japan's constitution and CCP a person must be assumed innocent until found guilty, (although we all know that in practice it doesn't work like that in Japan). Has this serviceman even been charged yet?

The foreign ministers of Japan and the United States said their countries' ties were stronger than ever on Tuesday, even after Japan's prime minister called U.S. President Joe Biden's decision to block Nippon Steel's $14.9 billion bid for U.S. Steel "perplexing."

American Steel will do just fine without Japan's wonderful offers of help, and "concern" for it's workforce. Is there really any "uncertainty" for US Steelworkers.

The Japanese police do very little investitive work. Prosecutors are just bureaucrats. Despite the fact that the judge realised that she was the victim of a scam, she was sentenced to 6 years. I have to beg the question "Are Japanese judges imbeciles"? Answer :Possibly not. They are also a victim of a legal system that is not comensurite to the 21st century.
