Children must be sighted by the driver and be inside with the door closed before getting into the car and driving (children are never outside when the car is moving).

Difficult to implement and if this was a great idea it would already be done. What about single parents or children from the neighborhood.

What about parking lots at grocery stores or even drop of points at airports?

Rigged test, it's become norm to Japan Inc.

Again you are incorrect. It is not the norm of "Japanese" companies. It is also happening with other companies outside Japan. And I won't even mentioning companies in a certain country which has lack of rules.

Alkonis was arrested by Japanese authorities and was held for 26 days in solitary confinement at a police detention facility, was interrogated multiple times a day and was not given medical treatment or an evaluation.

> Certainly he was in the wrong. But it doesn't take nearly a month in solitary with multiple daily interrogation to establish the facts of the case. This is basically torture. There is something very wrong with the police/justice system here

Why complaining. Simple don't do crime and you will be fine. Another option is dont come to Japan.

But the family of the US navy man is selfish and doesn't seem to care other life has been destroyed.

Just an isolated incident and you make such a hussle of it. I wonder what kind of other simple things you are worried about.

Using digital lego just to boost a game is just away of doing marketing.

Firstly being taxi driver means you have responsibility as a profession on the road.

This man deserves to be arrested since he is no capable to perform is profession.

Secondly, killing animals is often an indication that the person in action has physical issues. Those tests can be found on the internet and are well known.

40 students in one classroom? Why not two smaller classes of twenty students, allowing for more teacher/student attention...oh, I am so stupid! (OK, I momentarily forgot... two classrooms is twice the cost, and BOE priority is saving on educational costs so that the Director of the Board of Education 教育委員会理事 Kyooiku iinkai riji can be paid a larger salary).

Yes classes are getting larger because of costs savings but the most notable reason is the lack of teachers on the market. Please do some research before you just randomly place s comment which may incline that it is all the fault of the school.

Sorry, Charlie, the Chinese named the islands in the 15th century.

> Chinese records of these islands date back to as early as the 15th century when they were referred as Diaoyu in books such as Voyage with a Tail Wind (Chinese: 順風相送; pinyin: Shùnfēng Xiāngsòng) (1403) and Record of the Imperial Envoy's Visit to Ryūkyū (Chinese: 使琉球錄; pinyin: Shǐ Liúqiú Lù) (1534). - Wiki

> It should read Senkaku Islands, which china calls Diaoyu. No one calls them Diaoyu.

Naming and owning is different. Also the reason of the current issue to whom the island belong goes back due an unclear agreement around 1895.

The main reason for china to make noise about the island is resources and strategically located to Taiwan.

Copy Wikipedia.

After China lost the war, both countries signed the Treaty of Shimonoseki in April 1895 that stipulated, among other things, that China would cede to Japan "the island of Formosa together with all islands appertaining or belonging to said island of Formosa (Taiwan)",[14] but yet the treaty does not clearly define the geographical limits of the island of Formosa and the islands appertaining or belonging to Formosa ceded to Japan.
