President Xi looks very happy about his continued, prosperous, long relationship with the Bidens.

Of course! Who else if not China will provide all the supplies and materials for the infrastructure project.

Anti-satellite missile tests by the U.S. in 2008 and India in 2019 were conducted at much lower altitudes

Oh, so the Americans are just pissed that the Russians can get their missiles higher.

About a month ago, Russia outlawed all reporting on anything related to the military and space.

Do you think the US or China openly publish such information?

Errrrr no it's Russia and Belarus' destabilizing tactics that are being exposed to the world.

Errrrr, was it Russia and Belarus that bombed the countries these refugees are coming from?

Japan must do two things quickly. First, Japan must hike its defense budget to 100 billion US a year. Second, Japan must acquire the ability to strike China and strike china hard.

Why would Japan need to do any of it and quickly? What would Japan gain from this "strike", which is a pretty unthought-through thing to suggest it the first place?

But Xi-Row (ZERO) had better listen up and listen up good.

Now that's a statement! They should use it as an opening remark at this summit. China will come to its senses at once, I'm sure.

Ironic, isn't it. First the EU destroys these people's homes (which was of course to liberate them from "evil and oppressive regimes"), but now it's Belarus' fault that refugees are trying to make it to Europe. The EU should welcome these folks with open arms!

Thanks in part to the Russian Federation (aka USSR II).

Rather thanks to the US for ditching Europe and selling all LNG to Asia.

The president has criticized China for human rights abuses against ethnic minorities in northwest China, squelching pro-democracy efforts in Hong Kong

The US can't sort out their own human rights issues, let alone mentor other countries. China will walk all over them on this topic.

Settling lawsuits is not “giving” money to people.

As a citizen and a taxpayer, would you agree that your tax dollars are spent to pay illegal aliens for breaking the laws of your country?

Last week U.S. President Joe Biden criticized the decision of China's President Xi Jinping not to attend the Glasgow summit, saying China "walked away"

Apparently both Biden and Obama weren't aware this pact was in the works. Some leadership..

The US have gone through numerous campaigns in the last 40 years and that counts for an awful lot.

It's not the quantity but the quality that counts.

Unlikely. If anything, there will be more "sanctions" language. Bottom line: it's more complicated than you think.

Let's not exaggerate. As Mr Kipling pointed out, other militaries do the same. The US air force uses a mockup of a Chinese fighter, for example.
