He is making a bad mistake, he sees NATO as a threat which it simply does not have the resources or political or cultural will to be

Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libia would certainly second that!

Normally the who nation would have to be in agreement wouldn't they?

Sure. And then there's Kosovo.

A lesson for other countries: don’t rely on any agreement and never give up your nuclear program.

So you support Iran and N Korea?

Were the Chechen people allowed to break away from Russia

By this token, though, are Texas and California allowed to break away from the US?

I still say the US should deploy mass air power to Poland and Romania.

A missile strike away that would turn this mass air power into a mass pile of you know what.

Just send John Rambo already!

China is in the process of building something close to 250 new missile silos at three sites in northwest China. Each of those silos will hold an ICBM with potentially 8 or 10 separate warheads.

Great, another reference to a blog as a supposedly legitimate source. And even in this blog article, this is what they say "In this article we use words like suspected, apparent, and probable to remind the reader of that fact." In the meantime, the US already has more than 3,000.

Yep, everything in China revolves around the red envelope. Refuse and you get inspected, fined and maybe run completely out of business. China is as bad as any third world basket case for corruption.

This is not something that foreign business has to worry about, don't mislead people.

Just me but I think over the course of January 2022 the US and NATO should increase air power on Ukraine's borders with Poland, Romania and Moldava and conduct joint exercises with NATO air forces and Ukrainian air and ground forces to improve their mutual coordination.

That's warmongering

Time for the US to start having military units rotate through Taiwan openly to conduct joint training, and invite their Air Force to Red Flag exercises.

Time to call John Rambo to save the world!

The only hope is for the Russian people to decide to put in term limits and throw Putin out, take back all the money he stole while they are at it.

It seems that Putin has the majority support in Russia. Do you know something that those Russian people don't know? Like about how much money he stole, could you share the details?

That's pretty much all you can do if you don't have that kind of money. Just don't complain about how other people spend their dough.

Should it? It's "tourism" after all. Do you know of any tourism that does contribute to science?

Monroe Doctrine from the 1820s

Yes, exactly, the Monroe doctrine. So if the Russians have a similar principle in place (as I am sure most countries do), then it's easy to understand why they want NATO to stay as far from its borders as possible.

Russia has no right to try and dictate who can and cannot join NATO.

Let's say Venezuela decided to join SCO and host a Chinese or Russian military base, would the US be ok with that? If no, why not?
