The US should just give back to Japan the full means to defend themselves. Maybe China would get the clue then.

Take it to a launch pad over the ocean, AND LAUNCH IT TOWARDS THE SUN. Along with all other nuclear waste.

So everyone agrees, %100 of the population in Nakatonbetsu smokes. Yea that's what I thought. I feel for the town, the implications made came out of nowhere, and bash any reputation the town has.

Posted in: Nintendo shares dive on loss warning See in context

I own a Wii U. I bought it to play Pikmin3. That is the oNLY game for the console I own. It seems to me Nintendo does everything, but make games.

Nintendo is failing because they won't make any games until their console sales have satisfied their forecast. They're playing a sick game with the consumer and it's really hurting them in return. Their in-your-face attitude, 'we won't make any worthy games until our quotas are met,' is complete disaster for the company. They build the most cutting edge console their is, release it early, and refuse to develop any platform games for it since Pikmin3. D:

Military spending! Military spending! All it is is military spending! Could be doing four dozen other things with the money, but no we GOT** to spend it on the military.

Between Japan setting a record deficit and trying to boost expenditure, anymore military spending will turn Japan into the US!

I don't understand. Maybe in a high congested area where delivering furniture or such impedes traffic, like Japan. If not in those circumstances, going somewhere to pick something up to drag to your house is inconvenient.

Even if Japan has to foot 1/8 of the cost, I as an American feel disgraced Japan has to foot a third to move our troops.

How much longer will the world tolerate North Korea? The Kim Dynasty has killed millions more than the Nazis, and maintained its order without world intervention for over 60 years. It drives me insane that we tolerate this; and that China allows this. Time for someone to liberate the North Korean people, this has gone on LONG ENOUGH!

Posted in: Govt to review candidate sites for Fukushima waste disposal See in context

I'm reading the comments and they're all dissing nuclear energy. It seems rapid growth came before common sense zoning regulation/ oversight. Nuclear waste, in my opinion, shouldn't be stored or kept on Earth, but launched into space. If Earth has the audacity to keep tens of thousands of dangerous futile obsolete satellites orbiting around, we should have no problem launching well equipped capsules full of nuclear waste four galaxies over, if not be destroyed by space.

Posted in: Japan offers nuclear help to Saudi Arabia to free up oil See in context

Everyone needs to heavily invest in alternatives to fossil fuels, also engineer extensive recycling programs. Big countries need to dedicate their federal land to preservation, and plant large sums of trees to reduce carbon. Introduce carbon taxes. There are many methods that can be taken to ease the prices on oil. Why Japan is not revitalizing its nuclear program is beyond me.
