Is the guy third from the left wearing his wife's slacks? Or did he just choose way too short ones?

Why did he not try to save his friend? I guess it is okay to leave our friends behind.

What was the guy thinking when he was hitting this child. I don't care if the child was a baby or a teenager, they are not punching bags of fun.

You saw a 13 year old girl smoking and you are shocked? I was buying ciggs at the store across from my middle school when I was 12. It is a part of growing up and trying to look more mature than you really are to get respect from your peers. We just need to let the kids be kids. Let them make their own decisions even if they are the wrong ones; they learn from their own mistakes. If we keep telling them what to do they will never be able to think on their own and turn into some sort of robot.

Bullying is a part of growing up and learning to survive. If the bullying becomes violent then I would expect a teacher to get involved, but just words and pranks should be left alone. Parents need to teach their children a little saying I was taught as a child, "sticks and stones will break my bones, but names and faces won't hurt me".

Something has got to be missing from this story because no father in his right mind would call the cops on his 17 year old daughter. He just ruined her life.

Some of my students believe that Japan's national colors are red, white, and blue because the soccer team wears blue for some reason. Anyway, can't wait to see the game! I hope the red, white, and blue team wins!

Of course someone says The Cove they just don't want to live in reality. I would have to say any sci-fi movies ever made are on that list. I just don't like ignorant fake make believe moives that have no educational value to them.

@bababooey "knackerz - I can narrow it down. Perhaps this "gaijin" was of slavic ancestry, likely Romanian, or Belarusian. Yep, I'm sure Mr. slash victim can pinpoint that right away." Common sense, "Mr. slash victim" could say the color of the skin maybe an accent and so on. Only in a prejudice country as Japan would they say she was not Japanese. If the victim could tell the age and size how can they not tell the basic nationality of the people.

Posted in: Former principal rearrested for committing lewd acts with primary school girls See in context

Only in Japan would they let the sex offender back into the school system again as an authority figure. In the States he would be classified as a sex offender and everyone in the area would know it, every where he would move to the neighbors would know it and of course he would lose his job. What is wrong with this place where they allow men to take advantage of little children without any consequences?

Posted in: Policeman fires two shots during brawl with foreigners in Mie See in context

I live in that area and the reason they know that the suspects are foreigners is because it was outside of a Brazilian bar near one of the factories where many Brazillians work and live. Anyone who lives in this area knows that. Since I live here I am always being mistaken for being a Brazilian, but I am an American. There are many other foreigners from South America and all over Asia here in this little country side town who come here to work in the factories. In this case I can understand the use of foreigner since it is nearly impossible to tell what the nationallity is in a town like this.

When I was a kid my brother and I had our own BB guns and then later had our own rifles for hunting. We used to play with toy guns all the time, but our father would have beat us to a bloody pulp if we acted stupid with the play guns or any other weapons. Kids here have no idea how dangerous any lethal weapons are and that is why they act foolishly like this.
