Both countries for decades have status quo and no reasons to leave the stance as others will first think regarding their own benefits! Relax and both sides may win

The corruption in my home country can not be cured quickly and it will take generations to get from the remains of new Russian so called business under the protection of the KGB and other state officials

Canadianbento admits that "these Islands belong to Japan and the Russians know this but know it but won't admit it". Nope, does Canada belong to US? Let us not argue but find a way out of this dilemma

To my mind not only Hiroshima and Nagasaki but also Fukushima divides Japan and US. I am still Russian. My grand daughter was born in US. The attitude towards the War World the Second even 71 years after that dramatic and horrible tragedy divides people. No more Hiroshima, no more Nagasaki, no more Chernobyl, no more Three-mile , no more Fukushima!

Russia is very strange country that can be ruled only with a strong hand. And the standards of everyday life are very low comparing with other leading countries. There is no working economics except for the energy and military fields. They ask Russians to suppress more for 15 years or so. They are not magicians but only very skilled to make promises while using zombiefication through mass media calling opposition the spies and agents of US etc.

It is nice that there are high level talks between 2 sides. But Japan has lost during the World War the Second and no way for the lost party to claim disputed islands during the visit to Tokyo. Only after that coming visit the visit to Moscow will be decided and if Abe-kakka remains he will be invited to make apologies concerning atrocities of the allied side with Germany and Italy. Secondly on the disputed islands there is for the last 20 years fishing mafia of Russia and China led by the member of Parliament Mr. Verkhovsky Alexander which is stealing and selling resources to China. There should be internationally recognized inspections of this long-termed crime. Only after solving the matter someting new might happen.
