It happens more than it should but many things can cause it not just 'prioritizing work over family' or 'he meant to' but some factors are the parent was usually not the one to take them, maybe the mother usually did it but for some reason the dad had to do it. It can happen to any one. A good thing for parents is to put your purse or briefcase in the backseat next to them that way you always look behind you. And no school calls the parents for one day but it's something that could say a life to just have the school call and check. Poor family and poor child.
