Why did you have to write: “Yasukuni Shrine, which honors convicted war criminals?”

Posted in: New exhibition in Tokyo focuses on Japanese 'comfort women' See in context

Keiji Hirano started this article in the first sentence ending with: “….sexual servitude as ‘comfort women’ under the Japanese military during wartime has been well documented.”

Is the author aware it “has been well documented” by the U.S. Army in 1944 and 1945 that they were “well paid prostitutes?”

In the interest of being intellectually valid do you think perhaps both what “has been well documented” on both sides of this issue should also be on display? This way the people visiting the exhibit would be permitted to come to their own conclusion after having been exposed to both “well documented” sides.

Posted in: Star of dolphin-killing film 'Cove' detained at Narita airport See in context

According to Ric O’Barry’s website for his Dolphin Project, Mr. O’Barry denied having to do anything with Sea Shepherd and The Cove. Please correct your article to reflect his own website stated he denied being affiliated with The Cove. Perhaps it is in that denial that is delaying a conclusion to his detention.
