It’s immoral to use that kind of money on food. What kind of message does that send to poorer countries? It’s BONKERS!

Posted in: 77% of junior high school teachers exceeded overtime cap in FY2022 See in context

An old firefighter friend of mine once told me, “ If you can’t service yourself, you can’t service others….” Then you ask yourselves, why do the teachers look like hammered poop first thing on a Monday morning? - right at the start of a new week. Think about it! Teachers need to spend the weekend’s away from the school environment. It’s not healthy. But of course, the system seems to be designed that way to prep kids into becoming workaholics in the future. Kids also going to Jyuku ( after school private schools ) and walking home at after 9pm. It’s absolutely mind boggling and inexcusable to be putting kids through this factory-like lifestyle. Too much pressure folks.

If you believe that democracy exist you must be living in cuckoo land. It’s all an illusion. If the power of “believing it” works for you, rather like a placebo, then good luck with that.

Posted in: COVID infection gives similar immunity to vaccination: study See in context

At the end of the day, it boils down to personal choice whether or not to vaccinate. Don’t use the term “antivaxxers propaganda “ because they could quite easily throw it back and say that you are a member of the “provaxxers propaganda “. Whichever side of the fence you decide to sit on, you have a right to choose. Time has revealed the vaccines have not proven to be as effective as promised to let people make their one decisions when it comes to health.

That’s gross! I am painfully aware of how backward the legal system in Japan is but I did realize this to be the case. It’s unthinkable that it continues to be set so low given the number of potentially dangerous adults out there that would pounce on the opportunity to abuse this. This is morally reprehensible and revealing, once again, how behind the times things are in Japan. Change it and give the children some additional protection from predators.

Completely over sensitive and unnecessary. Society has gone bonkers. Quit acting like robots and let’s relax and live a little.

It’s unfortunate. However, we are ( as always ) only being projected one side of the story. I’m sure he knowingly stepped well over the line and knew it. Obviously, anyone with common sense and integrity should well know your trending on thin ice when visiting some countries- so tree carefully my “pedigree- chums “. Follow the rules while visiting and you’ll likely be ok. Let this be a lesson to would be reports from now. Hopefully he will get released early at least.

Mindless, selfish humans. Completely unnatural and solely for the benefit of the owner. This mentally is what makes it harder and harder to feel at ease living in this kind of society. It’s embarrassing

When will this disgusting period of discrimination end? Whatever your argument is regarding the merits or disadvantages of vaccination democracies must allow for choice. Coercing people to vaccinate is completely unacceptable. There’s no reason to go into length details about peoples’ personal reasons ( the list is inexhaustible), but without freedom of choice you truly lose everything.

Let the Unification Church pay for it. Clearly they are willing to accept huge donations even from the general public, so surely they might be generous in giving back.

All kidding aside, there outta be laws against religions taking large amounts of money from individuals. It’s immoral and reveals the true intentions of this organization. If they refused the mother’s donation ( perhaps gratefully accepting a smaller reasonable amount ), then Abe might still be alive.

I totally agree that this is a clear case where the mans road to rehabilitation should be focused on mental health. Locking him up like an animal for 20 years is completely missing the point. Is our society still this primitive? In his case this judgement is clearly a miscarriage of justice. Very sad. For anyone who is new to Japan, please be sure to know your situation over here. Of course, I’m assuming you are all “good people” but be sure to avoid getting tangled in legal issues in Japan because the system is not designed to give you a fair trial. It’s one of the major and continuing flaws with the legal system over here. Just be careful and stay out of any kind of trouble.

Watching the news will mean it’s difficult to sleep afterwords. Obviously. Since it’s beyond our control I suggest you avoid the news and head back to bed. Lack of good sleep will only leave you less well prepared for if/when a big one comes. Good luck.
