The story doesn’t mention it, but I do wonder if there was an exchange of money? Isn’t that kinda of a common thing here in Japan, old guys giving young girls expensive things for their sexual encounters?
It seems that the culture here allows pre-teen Idols. I’ve been walking through Shibuya’s live music area and was completely shocked at seeing all the young girls dressed pretty scantily and definitely not age appropriate.
The creepy part was seeing all the middle aged men lined up to watch these girls perform live. So maybe just maybe until the culture changes, these types of events will continue

I blame society as a whole especially social media and the effects it has had on children. Tictok is the worse

The mayor money sent to Ukraine must be well over a trillion dollars by now, my question is do these governments really know where the money is going to? I think the U.S government recently admitted to making mistakes worth billions.
My Japanese students don’t even know that much about the situation in Ukraine.
I wonder how long will the J-Gov continue sending money before the Japanese start questioning these politicians.

You have the right to allow this for your own children but you don’t have a right to push this onto others children. Period!

First off a phobia is fear, No one is afraid of a trans person their are upset that these individuals who claim to be trans are abusing this as a means of harming biological woman’s rights and in many cases just trying to be perverted in front of woman and children

Posted in: Japan's top court says gov't restrictions on transgender employee's use of restrooms illegal See in context
I do find it rather interesting that it seems the progressive commentators on here are a tad bit hypocritical, they think Biological men who dress as women should be able to invade biological women’s spaces, but they get so upset when biological men take up skirt photos.
The Trans movement is so disrespectful to woman. It’s sad to see this happening to biological woman!
I seriously doubt some of these same progressive commentators would allow a trans woman who hasn’t fully transitioned to be in the same toilet or locker room as their own children especially their daughters.
Anyone who is paying attention to what this movement has done in the states knows it doesn’t end well for biological woman and girls.

Yes they still have these but they are separate from the men’s and women’s toilets. These rooms have a door with a button you push to open it and close it? it’s also used by the handicapped. Again these toilets are not apart of the regular men’s and women’s.

“China is leading the way in green energy in many respects. It accounted for over 50% of the world's combined new wind and solar installation last year and are expected to be responsible for increasing the world's global capacity by 85% by 2025.”
Just like clockwork! Now Virusrex you know why climate change can’t be taken seriously. China has more coal plants running than any country in the world. The fact you actually believe China is doing this, that’s the funny part.

Posted in: How is extreme weather testing China's climate resilience? See in context
VirusRex I completely agree with your statement that China is one of the worst offenders, however and unfortunately the climate activists don’t agree with you or I.
Just saw one of the main leaders of Stop The Oil activists group on Pierce Morgan’s show telling Pierce that he was wrong about China and that China wasn’t the problem, but that they where leading the way in green energy.
I hope you and others can understand why so many people are skeptical of the climate change/global warming agenda.
The push to green energy is dangerous especially considering that we simply are not ready to have our entire energy infrastructure built around this. There is a great deal of hypocrisy when it come to this issue.
I went to a concert a year ago in Singapore that claimed it was being ran on 100% green energy, come to find out that it wasn’t. They literally had generators in the back and they also used the local power grid which isn’t renewable in Singapore, well at least not 100% renewable energy.
Until the technology is right for us to store this type of energy longer term then we still need fossil fuel or we need Nuclear power. I still don’t get how anyone claiming to be about green energy could be against the cleanest form of energy.

Yes I do believe that some of the arsonists have been climate activists because it’s been reported in the news. So like I said not all fires are climate change related. The fact that I have so many downvotes just proves that you folks refuse to accept reality and understand that climate change isn’t even close to having the effect on our planet than you
think. Honestly your probably a part of the climate cult. One thing is for sure unlike yourselves I believe we should always question science and especially question the narratives behind climate change.
I think anyone who claims we are doomed and will die in the next 10 to 20, like what’s been said so many times in the past 50 years, those individuals should be jailed for 25 years to life.
Everyone one of us in this comment section will live our lives out with no problems associated with the climate.
