I have seen police officers in uniform shop at convenience stores in Fukuoka Pref. I found nothing wrong with it. Another senseless rule abolished! Now, let's get to abolishing the senseless rules.

Can't imagine what the baby went through after being abandoned.

I am no expert but this is turning into a social issue. Way too many instances of terrible acts like this one are happening.

What a woman does with her pregnancy is nobody's business but hers alone, women like this one have no business being pregnant.

The baby is in a better place. RIP little one.

I struggle to find any resemblance of a Japanese kimono. As one to represent Japan, it is a terrible costume.

Posted in: Japan eyes tougher Olympics rules for Delta variant-hit countries See in context

I am curious about how will Japan handle the surge of infections (which in my opinion is bound to happen). With hospitals in many cities at near maximum capacity, Japan barely made it through the first and second waves.

Japan and the IOC must learn from the mistakes made in my home country India that resulted in the spread and avoidable deaths of hundreds of thousands people. Stop this senseless, desire to hold the olympics. We aren't out of the woods yet. By going through with the Games, Japan and the IOC are betting on a miracle and miracles are rare.

Saving lives are more important than pride.

I knew on the day of its inception that the Go To travel will facilitate in the spread of the COVID-19 virus and I am a simpleton. Says a lot about these experts and medical groups don't it?

Posted in: Woman pleads not guilty over death of her 2-year-old daughter See in context

If not for the incompetence by the child welfare officials and the cops, this little girl's precious life could have been saved. Shouldn't they be taken to task too? It is a shame that the people entrusted with protecting little ones fail time and again.

I have escaped many times being hit by vehicles on those left / right turns when it is the light turns green for pedestrian crossings. Why is that allowed?

Posted in: Japanese nationals return from virus-hit Wuhan on charter jet See in context

I am baffled at the fact that the Japanese government is just going to let the 200 people they bringing in free without a quarantine. So less is known about the coronavirus this is an extremely risky move. Heavens forbid if this goes south it is going to be a disaster.

I don't like Japanese TV shows, I don't watch Japanese TV shows, I don't understand Japanese to watch Japanese TV shows.

I was harrassed into signing the contract with a threat of legal action against me if I disn't. It felt like I was a victim of an extorsionist with no way to escape it. I had to sign the d**m contract.

Three years later, I am still paying an excess of ¥10,000 a year. I call it the "NHK MAFIA".
