There has been a steady rise of mental cases in Japan, specifically after the onset of the C-19 virus.

Just an argument and you decide to stab your parent??

"A record 4.5 million American workers quit their jobs in November, a sign of confidence and more evidence that the U.S. job market is bouncing back strongly from last year's coronavirus recession."

A sign of confidence in the job market?

Such incidents on other groups or minorities or whatever they are, should be condemned in the strongest terms possible. Vehemently discouraged and the Government of Japan should come out strongly to not only condemn but with active methods to counter such occurrences in future.

The Government should not wait for another ugly situation to occur and then take action.

What we are seeing is a precursor of what is happening in Myanmar, Uighur Province in China, most parts of Africa and other developing countries.

Japan is one of the most organized nation in the world but as for the vaccinations, it's a TOTAL mess.

Posted in: What does Japan's virus state of emergency mean this time? See in context

It is practically impossible to contain the C-19 in Japan.

The current emergency orders are not working and people are now not only used but are rebelling against the orders and exercising their freedom by drinking in the streets after 8'00pm.

The government should enact a special law to contain the C-19 menance.

I thought the US never allows it's citizens to be prosecuted out of US.

Many instances the US fights "tooth and nail" to have it's citizens tried at "home", what happened to these two being handed over to another territory?

Are their rights guaranteed?

These 6-boys should be punished thoroughly so as to deter the bullying attitude.

Anti-Bullying Educational system should be set-up in Japan from Kindegatten/Nursery to High Schools.

Posted in: Further sumo infections could mean tournament cancellation See in context

Kakuryu is taking advantage of the special right given to Yokozuna - they are not demoted even if they are absent from the tournament.

Kakuryu and Hakuho were both warned for skipping too many tournaments and they risk withdrawal of the special Yokozuna privilege, especially Kakuryu.

Kakuryu has promised to do his best in the next tournament and defend the 'yokozuna spirit' or resign from sumo.

Posted in: Further sumo infections could mean tournament cancellation See in context

65 infections including a Yokozuna and 15 wrestlers from Makuuchi and Juryo is more than enough reason to call-off the Hatsu-Basho.

Furthermore, almost 85 wrestlers will be sitting out of the tournament, what other indicator or threshold is JSA waiting for in order to call-off the tournament?

After all, sumo is a full body contact sport and the risks of infections cannot be over emphasized.

Posted in: Another state of emergency would impact Tokyo Olympics See in context

It is evident that the Covid-19 has struck hardest than when when it started or when the first lock-down was effected.

The earlier the Lock-Down is put into effect the better, otherwise, Tokyo/Japan will not only loose the Olympics but many precious lives.

Now 'stable' is for horses or other donesticated animals.

@Sh1mon M4sada: Please mind your usage of English language and spelling too.

I support Japans efforts to protect it's borders, especially with the growing threats fron CHINA and North KOREA.

Japan cannot fully rely on the USA, especially when you have presidents like Trump.

Japan should wake up and be the equalizing power in the Far East, China needs to be tamed it has become the worlds no.1 enemy and unpredictable.

Japan has to finish it's bullying system from company managers and coworkers to weaker persons at the same company......@Monty.

The bullying is systematic, at starts at Nursery or Kindergatten level, continues to Elementary grades, to Junior and High schools. It goes a step further into the colleges/universities and to working places. It doesn't end there even after retirement you will find there's still bullying even the parliament(Diet).

In parliament they form parliamentary affiliations "factions" and in schools and working places is "nakama".

Bullying has been in this country for centuries!

Posted in: 16-year-old boy arrested for fatally stabbing father in Aomori Prefecture See in context

The problem is, the father is dead. The kid admit killing him. What else is there to know?

It's a must to establish the motive. Without a motive the prosecutors cannot establish/summarize their case.

Knowing the motive is very important in establishing the behavorial changes in the soceity and also for prevention.
