The Japanese public is spoon fed lies about drugs. If they don't believe it, they pretend to. Oh, alcohol and nicotine are not really drugs. lol.

These stupid people use dogs as convenient baby substitutes...

some people can't or shouldn't have babies. I don't see this as a bad thing.

That is why we have to say NO to drugs.

That is why we have to legalize some drugs and put these thug cartels out of business.

Posted in: What are the pros and cons of living together with someone before you marry that person? See in context

Pros: Test of compatability and commitment. Cons: After marriage, nothing really changes.

I will advise my kids to live together before deciding. Any issue will be magnified after years together. There should be no surprises.

Posted in: New film has Japan vets confessing to Nanjing rape, massacre See in context

@souryeki stimulates thinking of how Japanese soldiers could have been capable of the Nanjing horrors.

Chinese and Japanese perceptions of this war are totally different

I don't think this will change untile people who took part on both sides have been long gone. Well researched films like this are important but it might take a few more decades before both sides are able to rationally come to terms.

Japanese baseball understands marketing. She is much better than oyaji politicians in Japan or the US who awkwardly throw the ball.

Posted in: Why U.S. immigration policy needs tweaking See in context

become a legal resident if his or her business has created at least five full-time jobs in the U.S., attracted an additional $1 million in investment capital, or achieved $1 million in revenue.

So if the immigrant only creates four full-time jobs, he won't be legal. I understand the motivation to attract smart people but this seems like a huge hurdle.

Posted in: What do you think of the ongoing dispute between Google and China? See in context

Good for Google for exposing. Now the gov't will have a harder time lying about their censorship. Of course they will lie and say Chinese intrnet users can access anything and they will say Google failed in China. Google had 33% market share. For anybody who understands business, they know that is huge.
