We Malaysians regardless whether you are Malay, Indians, Chinese as well as fellow Sabahan and Sarawakian fought hard in the elections to at least get rid of Barisan Nasional who have been in power since independence and with Najib and his wife Rosmah which faces corruption (murders included) it's easy for those outside of Malaysia to be downright negative about it.

This is beginning of baseball season, there will be lots of game for the next 6 months onwards. As somebody who follow baseball there will be ups and downs in each game. And it will be better as time progresses and he gets used to the environment

Not too worried about Japan's handling of major international events, if not they are one of the most predictable, safe and reliable hosts of any major sporting events. Well, people says bad thing about Rio, but during the games it went smoothly without any major hiccups (post-olympics is a different story though)

The reality is that North Korean regime is very manipulative and always found a way to distract people from the issue which is at hands, nuclear issue, political murders (just what happen in Malaysia recently) and economics sufferings of her own people.

Well, Americans have have been in Okinawa for many many years but it doesn't stop the Chinese from entering the Japanese waters does it? In fact the one doing all the works of warning the Chinese is the Japanese coast guards themselves.

At least in the case of AKB48 if you decide to quit the band ie. Atsuko Maeda (they call it graduation), they will celebrate you, do farewell concerts, shower the artist with encouragement for future projects which for me is more positives. Compared to what happen to S.M Entertainment former Chinese member in Exo (Tao and Luhan) and Girl Generation's Jessica, your are slapped with lawsuits, banned from appearing in major networks in Korea. No wonder the anxiety of doing well and constantly being told you're not good enough coupled with depression lead to this young man to commit suicide

The picture itself is very telling. For a very very small island with little space people are asking to move the school. To where? The ocean floor?

To those who ask the Okinawans to move the school, oh if they had luxury of big space of lands. It's like telling islanders like Vanuatu, Fiji, Maldives Samoa to move into the oceans!

Posted in: Chen holds on to win Rostelecom Cup and beat Hanyu See in context

Nathan Chen is from the United States btw, not Canada. Congratulations on Chen, he is a rising star. But I'm more disappointed in lack of coverage by mainstream American media in celebrating our Asian-American athletes winning as figure skating no longer popular in the States compared to other type of sports such as baseball or basketball etc....

As much as I do not enjoy Justin Bieber as much, coming from China about "growing up" a little bit disingenuous when you treat Nobel peace laureate Liu Xiaobo badly resulting in him unable to receive proper treatment for cancer and die.

One thing when dealing with Russia is expect the unexpected. As much as they can forcefully take lands from other country that angers them they can also generously give away lands for countries that became their puppet/good side.

CH3CHO yes using women as sex slaves whether it is forced or vountarily (due to poverty or hunger created by these men at war) is EVIL, INHUMANE and WRONG whether Japanese Imperial, Lord Resistance Army, or ISIS. You can put any terms for it (comfort woman is the most beautiful term I've ever heard so far), as we South East Asian people know better....
