Well , well.... it's all about money. Those experts that bo-bood at Fukushima tragedy knows and just have to save the owners of those Nuke plants for something... Nothing new. I used to live at Fukushima Ken. And they lied to the bones saying radiation in Koriyama city was within normal limits.

Japan crime is quite alarming now. The problem IMHO lies in the Judiciary Branch and Policemen. Punishments for crimes committed are too lenient compared to other nations.
Knives are often used. I wonder what it will be like if guns are easy to secure in Japan.

That's one of the problem in Japan Judicial Branch. Too lenient in punishments. Prosecutors, Lawyers and Judges seem to need a lot to know about Criminal Law. IMHO

There are so many too quick here to put blame and condemn without even thinking intellectually.
We don't even know if the suicide/murder was caused by a domestic problem. Who knows if there is something with her husband causing her to bring her children with her.

" Uemura was sitting next to the woman who was asleep when he reportedly put his hands up her skirt, pulled down her pantyhose and placed his hand inside her underwear."
Just wondering how the man was able to pull down her pantyhose. It is not that easy if the girl is sitting and dead sleeping. Unless the pantyhose and panty have no garter. Hehehehe

Wow.... The greed among the greedy....Participants should sue the U.S Military and not Tepco. Everyone knows Radiation was already active. Anyone asked to join can have the option to reject joining the operation.

Yes sanctions has no effect to NK. Secretly China is helping them through the back door. Remember the Korean war? It was China's military coming from the borders that help drive the US Military who have already occupied and cornered the retreating NK soldiers. A communist will always side with co-communists.
Btw, these exchanges of threats , between countries IMHO are plain propagandas or worst BS drama . A person who will attack, will just attack with no warning. That's how I see these exchanges of blah blahs.....

Posted in: Death by overwork: Japan's 100-hour overtime cap sparks anger See in context
I was once told by my ex father in law in japan that work is number one and the family or children comes the second. Now you know why so many broken homes and kids gone astray in Japan. Due to workoholic system, Japans population is sinking. OVERTIME? Are the paid more for the overtime? Follow what USA did. No overtime for regular employees because the pay for over time is high. So they hire part timers. Wise and smart idea bcuz the pay is low compared to the regulars. IMHO

HIROKAZU MATSUNO. BULLYING in Japan has been and will be especially in schools because of your non actions no matter how many complaints the Principals of each school received and your Department. Fukushima linked bullying is nothing compared to numbers and kids that even succumbed to suicide regarding this BULLYING. My daughter was bullied in one of the Elementary School in Koriyama city Fukushima Ken. My daughter suffered depression, stress and fear. Talked with my daughter's teacher but nothing. I wrote the school principal about it and even gave some suggestions but nothing. He is more interested in watering his plants than to check his school and students. Talked to some parents with kids bullied and they have also reported it. And she get from the school was " it's normal so the kids will get stronger and can adjust to society. Yeah ! Yeah.. cope with society. The Society 6 feet under? IMHO

Posted in: Japanese high school students fail to meet English proficiency target See in context
I think the best way for Japanese to learn english is during their elementary grade if that is the goal of PM Abe and JGov. It should be included in their curriculum. Learning english in High school is quite late. It's like placing a 12 year old kid in a place for the first time. Start elementary english during their elementary. 30 minutes a day is not that burden to kids. So they can understand and pronounce correctly . Japanese alphabet cannot be merged into english alphabet. Vowels and Consonants may sound alike but phonetics will not. Because they will pronounce it as in their japanese alphabet. Hot for HOTO, English for INGLISU. I know Japanese are smart and intelligent. One thing I noticed with japanese english. they are used to merging it to their japanese alphabet. Their only single letter are their vowels. And it is even re-arranged. I do also wonder why Japan have 4 different ways of writing. Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana and Romaji. Why, I don't know. How many countries have 4 ways of writing... IMHO

Posted in: Woman conned out of Y30 mil by bogus call from man pretending to be her son See in context
This kind of scam and conning will never stop if the media, police, and JGov will not help the poor senior citizens (excuse me) who are still living the old school ways in these age of high technologies. The Police, instead of just hanging inside theor post and boxes, let them make rounds in their district orienting people about this. JGov, command your city halls and mayors to spend some tax payers money by making flyers and posters placed on easy visibility like Grocereis, kombini etc... . NHK and other can do a lot of help since they collect money from TV owners and advertising companies. It won't take lot's of money or effort to post every now and then on TV Broadcasting Networks about this kind of scams and conning. How ? TV Networks are experts on advertising. All probable victims need is just reminders about phone scammers like this. These people are really prone becuz they are old and still the typical japanese living in the old culture. IMHO.

Well, is there anything we can do about it than to feel and see the effects and to blame whoever we can for the incompetence of those responsible? Worst, the JGov is now asking former inhabitants affected by radiation who evacuated to go back to their homes... Am wondering now why there are sooooo many weirdo acts and crimes, murdering, bullying, stealing women under wears, men groping women inside the train, child and animal abusers, to name a few roaming everywhere in this beautiful and safe country. Could these be the evolving radiation effects of the A-bomb dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki affecting their brains and behaviour? Just like the Fir trees? Just hypothesis...;)

Hehehe so what is the problem with that...it's the culture and custom of Japanese. Same as other countries... I know at times there are much pressure among the new generations of Japanese people about the old system and customs but that's how Japanese are. ;) that we gaijins should respect. But I am sure time will come when these new breed of Japanese will be like their western counterparts cuz they are now deeply influenced and copying if I may say so the customs and ways of western and european countries. IMHO, those old Japanese customs should not be deleted cuz that's how Japanese are differentiated from others in this planet. Call me old school but for me, that's Japanese identity and signature that sometimes we gaijins laugh about.

IMHO, The United States of America and the President should be blamed for the catastrophic effect of the A Bomb dropped in Hiroshima and Nagazaki. As some info I have read in cyberspace, USA dropped tha ABomb just to test that Atomic bomb that killed hundred thousands of civilians. Even the US president then wasn't even sure what to do about it. It is sad though but that's how it was.

My daughter was bullied many times in her Elementary School days way, way back many moons ago. I decided to write the Principal and told him about the trauma my daughter have been suffering. Nothing from the Principal or het teacher was done. Now you see why many students commit suicide due to bullying in their school. I read one time here, that bullying is a part of growing up to be strong and cope up with society. YEAH !!!!! RIGHT !... What do you think if I will teach my children to fight them back, equipped them with things they can use to fight back and bully them back too. Har.. har..har..
So another student died cuz of bullying... who is next "kashira"
This bullying have not been given attention by JP Department of Education and School Principals....

Any to be divorce woman and wanted to remarry, can easily know if she is pregnant with the simple urine pregnancy test set that can bought easily. Why wait 6 months, 3 months, 3 weeks... in just a 5 minutes more or less a woman will know the result if she is pregnant. hehe

Posted in: Abe to tell U.S. leaders Japan ready for bigger security role See in context
IMHO, it's about time that the Japan enforced their own security against threats and aggressions. Change the accord sign after WW2 just to act only as a defense force. China have been acting rudely for years now. Obama's admininstration , United Nation and the likes, just keep on dilly dallying especially about islands dispute. I think Abe's move to make USA re-assure Japan about their sincere support is good. This will show USA transparency to US support. And btw, Japan is also spending for the presence of US Military bases and not USA alone as reported. IMHO, It's about time for Japan not only to defend themselves but also to respond to attacks. I just cannot grasp why until now the world's powerful nation cannot even lift a finger to China's abusive behavior in Asia. Economic problem maybe? USA financially neck deep indebted to China? Your guess is good as mine?
