The Japanese Government should provide an Unconditional Universal Basic Income of at least 3,245,550.00 yen (equivalent of $30,000 United States Dollars) to all of its citizens. Further, the amount should always be adjusted for inflation. If an Unconditional Universal Basic Income went into effect, it would enable anyone who ever falls on difficult times to have a cushion. The Unconditional Universal Basic Income would be the equivalent of throwing someone who is struggling to swim a life jacket. The Unconditional Universal Basic Income should also begin in neighboring countries like China and so forth.

In conclusion, if Unconditional Universal Basic Income went into effect for eternity, everyone would be able to sleep better at night, have less stress and therefore have a better quality of life.

Posted in: Anti-high heels campaigner steps up to fight 'glasses ban' See in context

This campaign in which Yumi Ishikawa Sama is engaging is Admirable. High heels should not be mandatory as such items are likely uncomfortable, make walking difficult and are not ideal for foot issues. As a result, high heels should never be a requirement in a work environment whether it is a corporate work environment, restaurant, bakery, factory, etc. There are many professional shoes available that are not high heels but very comfortable.

As to glasses, there should never be a ban on glasses. For many glasses are a necessity. Further, glasses are professional.

In conclusion, there should never be a requirement for anyone to where high heels in any way, shape or form. There should never be a ban on glasses in any way, shape or form. The outfit Yumi Ishikawa Sama is wearing is professional and should meets the seal of approval. Kudos to Yumi Ishikawa Sama.

Posted in: 20-year-old woman stabbed to death in Niigata See in context

It is extremely tragic that something like this happened to the young woman who had her whole life ahead of her. Hopefully they will catch the subject and the subject will be executed.

It is a shock that this kind of thing could ever occur in Japan. It is understood that Japan is one of the safest countries in the world which would mean the probability of becoming a victim of street crime is low. It is understood that Japan all the way from Naha City, Okinawa to Wakkanai City, Hokkaido along with the rest of East Asia (eg all of Mainland China from Beijing to Urumqi) does not have urban blight/no go areas to the same extent if at all like many western countries. Again a real shock.

I hope the girl makes a complete recovery. Feel bad for her because this is a traumatic situation. The suspect should be executed because the world would be a better place without someone like this.

It is shocking that something like this could ever occur in Japan because Japan along with other East Asian Countries like Mainland China, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, etc are known for being one of the safest if not the safest areas in the world. It is understood that Japan and the other East Asian Countries are safer than most if not all Western Countries, Africa and the Middle East. One would think Japan is the type of place someone would go in order to not be concerned regarding becoming a victim street crime.

The Basic Income would solve issues like this individual had. This way nobody ever has to worry about having a source of income even if they lose their job.

I hope the victim makes a full recovery and that those horrible individuals are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

It is a shock that this type of thing could happen in Japan.

Hopefully the victim will be all right.

It is extremely shocking that something like this could ever occur in Japan. Japan is known as being one of the safest countries in the world. My understanding is that someone can even walk around the Kabukicho area of Shinjuku (apparently the most dangerous area in Japan by Japanese standards) late at night without being bothered/harassed. To hear of something like this occurring in the Far East (China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan) is extremely shocking. My understanding is that the Far East is deemed safer than the Middle East, The America's, Oceania, Australia and Europe. This is extremely shocking. Hopefully the criminals are going to be subject to maximum penalty.

Posted in: Woman, 3-year-old daughter killed, 8 others injured after car, garbage truck collide in Tokyo See in context

Japan especially Tokyo has among the best mass transit in the world if not the best transit in the world. My understanding is even the Northernmostcity, Wakkanai City, Hokkaido, Japan has a City Bus Network and also a train station. That being said Japan should have among the least if not the least vehicles on the road in the world per capita.

There should not even be a need to own a vehicle especially if one resides in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area. With the amount of Mass Transit in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area, the Tokyo Metropolitan area should be One Hundred Percent ("100%") vehicle free. Such characteristic would significantly increase the quality of life for everybody.

Posted in: Man arrested for attempted murder of supermarket employee See in context

This is extremely disturbing. Hopefully the victim makes a complete recovery. She was doing the right thing and this horrible individual had to do that.

It is also quite shocking that this could happen in Japan because just about if not every city in Japan and the country of Japan as a whole is safe and safer than most cities in the Western Countries and most Western Countries as a whole. Japan does not have cities with dangerous areas that exist in Western Countries. Kyoto especially feels really safe.

That suspect should either be hanged or receive the firing squad. As to reasons for this disturbing act:

·       Was the suspect a former employee who was fired???

·       Did the suspect attempt to obtain employment at the supermarket and did not get hired???

·       Did the suspect have an issue with the supermarket as a customer???

There had to be a specific reason why the suspect chose an employee in that supermarket. There is absolutely no excuse for what that suspect did and he should receive maximum consequences. It is helpful for everyone to understand the motive so this kind of thing never ever occurs again.

Posted in: Tokyo Metro to begin playing classical background music on Hibiya Line trains See in context

They should play classical music on every bus, bus terminal, train, train station, airplane and airport all the way from Naha, Japan to Wakkanai, Japan.

This would be a benefit in terms of feeling at ease, it would likely reduce anxiety which is present in the unfortunate fast paced world in which we reside and also would likely reduce aggression. All of this should occur regulary whether it is on Monday morning for work or late on a Saturday night. This would be the equivalent of adding a cushion to a hard metal chair. Overall I believe this would be a great idea.

As for this horrible individual, how about they just hang him!!!??? It would bring justice to the girl and the world would be a safer place if he ceased to exist.

Japan should emulate Singapore in law and order which would result in "0" muggings, attacks on strangers, etc. No attacks on strangers, sexual assault, etc ever occur in Singapore. One can walk around the streets of Singapore between midnight and six o'clock am which is due to their harsh laws.

Posted in: 2 arrested for assault, robbery of man on Tokyo street See in context

It is good that the victim is all right. How on earth could something like this have ever occurred in Japan let alone in the Shinjuku section of Tokyo???????????????????????????

Japan is one of the safest countries in the world. Additionally, Shinjuku is one of the most crowded areas in the City of Tokyo. The Shinjuku section of Tokyo has the Metropolitan Government Building, National offices and a massive business district. As a result, nothing like this should ever occur in Japan let alone the Shinjuku section of the City of Tokyo. Perhaps they should have extremely aggressive law enforcement and play classical music everywhere in public all the way from Naha to Wakkanai.

How on earth could something like this ever occur in Japan??????????????????? This should be the place where anyone regardless of age, gender, strength, size etc. should be able to roam freely or stay at home and not worry about being bothered. This is not a dangerous place such as San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Tijuana, Mexico, Glasgow Scotland or even Malmo Sweden. This kind of thing should not be happening in Japan.
