A lot of commenters falling for the media (who are clearly invested and biased in this) and government demonization of meta and google (no angels themselves). Not helped by the sparse information about the issue contained in the article, which seems to paint the online platforms as the villains here. The problem is the Trudeau government that has got this wrong from the start. Trudeau's popularity is at an all time low and the majority of the country wish he would resign according to polls. Polls also indicate the majority of Canadians think he is the worst prime minister in history.

"When you tear out a man's tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you're only telling the world that you fear what he might say." It's scary how many people are muppets of the media, and favour censorship. The mainstream media hate Rogan and his podcast because way more people listen to it than them. They are trying to take out what they perceive as competition. Very successful competition.
