This is further discrimination against a minority in Japan. Shameful.

How about reading some history, folks, to understand why ethnic Koreans are here.

Why are you picking on skateboarders? Were they dirty looking as well? Is skateboarding against the law in Japan? Were they drinking in groups of more than 5 at an izakaya (which is what the article is actually about)?

Games and smart phones are a real conspiracy! Just see how everyone on the train is absorbed on the smartphone, It destroys our eyesight and brains. Read a book! Children should not be able to file lawsuits. Unless the LDP wants to lower the voting age to 17... #Brainwashing

"and was even shown in a Japanese-captioned format at select screenings for hearing-impaired audiences" ??? All screenings should have captions in the spirit of barrier free. An anime about a deaf girl that deaf people can't access? Really?

This technology could benefit older people (Japan is the aging society), disabled people, pregnant women and others who have difficulty walking.

Sourpuss: You obviously have never watched Bari-Bari. There is no whining going on whatsoever. And it is like a regular variety show that happens to have disabled hosts and themes. It is a NHK Osaka production and thus very funny. Check it out!

Posted in: Obama visits Hiroshima to ponder 'terrible force unleashed' See in context

Anyone who has visited Hiroshima (for more than 10 minutes) would see the speech as incredibly insensitive and completely missing the point. I can't imagine how one could only spend 10 minutes in the museum and then give a prepared speech. Truly inhumane. Close (politically perhaps) but no cigar...

How can anyone ignore/defend the effects of second-hand smoke? Smoking in public and/or in front of others is selfish.
