to replace their dependency on the us military to start with, they will need 2 aircraft carriers, 30 destroyers, 30 subs capable of multihead missile launch, 300 bombers, 1000 strike planes, 100 awacs, support for about 200,00 more armed forces, 500 tanks, 500 landing craft....
They dont need that, they have Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi, Sony, Toshiba, Hitachi, Nishikawakajima, Shiseido etc...and...support by 130 000 000 people.

What i am sure about is that Obama is reversing, deleting, not agreeing, disagreeing with a lot of issues and agreement and laws of the Bush time so Hatoyama is doing the same within his own country.

The people of Japan voted for the DPJ...it means that every single laws or agreement could be revolved and disagreed by Hatoyama san.
Thats democracy.

An agreement with another government is not an agreement, plain & simple. Only the old bunch of LDP rulers had signed an agreement, obsolete now.
With a new government a new agreement has to be discussed and signed one day.

Thats the recent (10 years) wave of Japan.

There's nothing wrong with Holocaust denial, everyone is entitled to an opinion.
Its against the law in France : you pay an heavy fine and/or you go to jail.
