What's wrong with everyone, this could have been stopped! Everyone just pulled out their phones and started taking videos of the robbery. One lady and an old man had the guts to close the door but I bet if 10 people would have held the door then it would have ended quicker. Are there no heroes left in the world?

Posted in: Do you support the Japanese government's plan to open the country's first casino (or integrated resort) in Osaka? See in context

I vote NO! Why? There are too many gambling addicts in Japan who would rather spend their money on Pachinco and other gambling means than support their families. When they do open the casino in Osaka then they need to regulate it like Singapore. Locals should have to pay a fee to enter and always show some ID if they want to enter. If a family member goes overboard gambling then they should be able to report it to the casino and get them banned from entering. IMO.

All athletes and media should be quarantined for 2 weeks as other countries have, Look at the team that just arrived 2 of them tested positive and how many more are infected?

All those infected in Tokyo spread it like China did during their holiday. IMO.

Posted in: Telework challenge: Do you find it easy to work, live and relax in the same space? See in context

One word! "Love it"! keeps me at home where I can see my kids on a daily basis and also clean the house and take cook healthy food. In order to work at home productively you have to create your perfect space. I have a standing desk so I am not sitting all day, this helps with back pain and I believe that its helps tighten the "Core".

Watching Chernobyl on HBO and it reminds me of when Fukushima plant went Boom! Misleading information going in and out, panic, denial and in the end the people of the area payed the cost loosing their homes and life. I wish that the Japanese government would take more precautions and have a plan established to prevent any disaster in the future if any of the other plants go fully on line. Nuclear power is clean and is the future but it has it consequences when things go wrong.

Posted in: Foreign casino operators go all in as they vie for Osaka license See in context

If they do open a "Casino" then they need to make laws like Singapore has. Each resident of Japan who enters the casino has to register and pay a fee each time. Hopefully that will weed out heavy gamblers.

War = weapons sales in the USA and helps create jobs but I really don't agree with DT's approach with this and why he decided to go to war in a country that wants to kill Americans. There are issue in the US that need to be addressed rather than WAR in a different country. IMO

Japanese companies have to change their business practices or end up like this.

Its sad to think that once Japan was such a power house and now almost all of Japanese Tech businesses are falling to "Old business practices".
