The mass produced "dairy" products in konbini are pure garbage. The "yogurt" is a chemical concoction made from whey, emulsifiers, flavouring agents, preservatives and sucrose. The cheese is an insult to cheese. You can buy the same products in supermarkets, with the only advantage that they are cheaper. If you want yogurt, make your own. It's not difficult and there are artisan cheesemakers in Japan who do make some decent cheeses.

No mention of taxes here. Japanese taxes right now are crippling. In the boom years there was no consumption tax and income tax was much less. You got to keep the money you earned. Now you don't. It goes for LDP members' "entertainment expenses" and twice yearly bonuses. No wonder fewer people want to start a family. We can't afford it!

Cut ALL carbs, no ultra processed food, don't eat anything that you can't immediately see what it's made of. That means you have to cook most of the food you eat yourself.

Why don't they have a go at Katakana while they're at it? English words ending in -er are always given the nobasu mark, indicating a long vowel. Yet I can think of no instance where the -er ending has a long vowel: Mazaah (mother), fuazaah (father), etc. And if I went into a pub in England and ordered a pint of "lagaah," it's doubtful whether they would understand that I wanted "lager," and probably think I was trying to sound posh.

Can you imagine the population of any other industrialized country in the world re-electing these people over and over and over again?

Let's not forget the LDP's origins and covert management by the CIA. This has been going on since they installed a war criminal, Kishi as PM just after the end of WWII.

https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2006/07/20/national/u-s-admits-cia-gave-ldp-money-in-1950s-1960s/

"WASHINGTON – The CIA secretly sent money to the Liberal Democratic Party in the 1950s and 1960s to help stabilize the LDP-led government and prevent a leftist administration from emerging, according to a U.S. document released Tuesday.

The document, titled "Foreign Relations of the United States, Vol. XXIX, Part 2," also suggests that some of the CIA money went to moderate members of the now-defunct Japan Socialist Party, the LDP's rival at the time, apparently to help them form a moderate breakaway.

It is the first time the U.S. government has formally admitted having a covert financial program for Japanese politicians, a State Department official involved in compiling the document said.

The LDP has denied the CIA give the party financial support."

The US seems to be pushing toward WWIII. A hopeless war that they have absolutely no chance of winning. It will make a large dent in world population however and maybe that's the plan.

At least the leaders of China, NK and Russia are visible! I wonder who is pulling the strings in the US? It certainly isn't Biden.

We need more like Assange to stand up to and expose the huge antisocial crimes of the CIA. Putin alluded to this in the recent interview. Of course Assange should be free. Exposing crimes is not a criminal act.
