We prefer no Olympics! Get that through your thick skulls, “experts”!

Wow. The citizens and residents who pay taxes are the ones getting royally screwed. Wasn’t the point to paying taxes to benefit the inhabitants of this country? Bunch of worthless nitwits running the country. Yeesh.

Look up incompetent in the dictionary and this is what you see. Just vaccinate and get this done. Stupid states of emergency do nothing and your people won’t listen since you don’t follow your own rules. Cut crap and just do the rollout ASAP. Stop procrastinating!

Happy for the nurses that they are sticking up for themselves. They’re already in enough danger as it is. Keep fighting and saying no!
24 ( +25 / -1 )
Too little too late for this dingbat. He should create more centers to vaccinate more than just the elderly. Way to prioritize companies instead of your people, you poor excuse for a prime minister.
29 ( +36 / -7 )
Just speed up the vaccinations already and all these pointless news headlines will go away. Stop wasting our time with pointless articles and help the people for once.
8 ( +10 / -2 )
Cut the lame names and start paying your citizens and others who pay taxes monthly stipends! If you spend all this money on the garbage olympics while putting out business for good, it says that the citizens are at the bottom of the barrel. Show for once in your narrow minds that you care for all the citizens and residents of Japan! It’s not hard! There’s a reason you Japan ranks at the bottom in vaccinations distributed because the government just wants money!

That’s a big fat lie. All the trains are crowded again. Walked my dog near one of the railroad tracks and those trains are back to being sardine cans again. Consideration for others? Not so much. It’s the sad reality

Meaning he will do nothing. Got it.

If Leika doesn’t understand that people are simply saving cash to be safe and are being smart with their money, there should be a new writer for this column. It’s called having common sense when there’s no reason to buy things due to a low economy
18 ( +19 / -1 )
Duh!! I’m certainly not buying jack crap during this pandemic. There’s hardly any financial assistance for foreigners, so they won’t care what happens to them if their money runs out. Wake up and get some people care for once!!
7 ( +7 / -0 )
Empty apology. Epic fail in how this was handled
20 ( +21 / -1 )
Hoarding? Seems like the person writing this article is hoarding any attempt to make a story out of anything. It’s called budgeting and smart spending. If there’s no work, then there’s nothing to buy. Use common sense, please.

Go To Hospital. Yup.
9 ( +10 / -1 )
It’s already lost in a sea of confusion. The USA needs a leader who cares for their people
12 ( +13 / -1 )
It also downplays the Supreme Court justice decision. You never know

Got it. He wants to be full of lies and deceit. For his own people, not for the citizens of Japan
4 ( +4 / -0 )
So he’s committed to getting nothing done. Just a bump a on a log making no progress. We’ve seen that plenty.
7 ( +10 / -3 )
Old fossils posing together. Good luck to Japan. Everyone will need it
4 ( +5 / -1 )
This should tell the voters here that this guy is useless for the position. Why are these politicians as bright as the night? Yet he is considered a hopeful? He’s going to end up to be a disaster just like Donald Trump has showed his ineptitude in leadership for the USA. I HOPE neither succeeds. We need better leaders than these 2 dingos running the show.
3 ( +5 / -2 )
She should “Go To Retirement”
15 ( +22 / -7 )
Experts at what? Acting like fools? The experts should be renamed Covidiots
-1 ( +2 / -3 )
It’s the “Go To Hospital” campaign
7 ( +13 / -6 )
Looks like the 3 stooges coming together.
3 ( +7 / -4 )
How can the government expect people to spend if they’re not helping households with rent freezes or utility assistance? Until that happens, people won’t be tempted to buy anything. I’m trying to save whatever I can during this absurd pandemic and hoping things will change for the better. The other problem is, we really don’t know when this will all stop. Good luck to everyone out there.

My Japanese friends told me his job as Prime Minister was truly gut-wrenching. That tells you right there that the citizens stopped believing in him and he had no other choice but to make an excuse to bow out.
4 ( +6 / -2 )
It sure is the “Go To Hospital” Campaign
1 ( +1 / -0 )
It also masks the careless job the government has done of taking care of its citizens. The Abe masks? Seriously? Wonder what he was taking the night he decided to pass such a waste of tax payers’ money
