I was very skeptical when people told me that school lunches are healthy and delicious. However, now that my kids go to school I can say that (at least in Tokyo) this is true. They make their dashi soup from scratch every morning and bake their own bread. Once every 6 months they have a day when family members can try eating the food. It's really quite good and the menu was quite varied and different than what my wife experienced. Even my Japanese wife's parents were quite impressed.

Selected a bit early and by a dysfunctional team, but congrats to him nonetheless. He will probably get 20+ minutes a game, which would be more than if other teams selected him. He has upside but is lacking in awareness and decision-making. It's a steep learning curve but I hope he makes Giannis-like strides.

I welcome the tourists and try to help them out whenever possible (giving directions, helping them carry their suitcase up the stairs). My only pet peeve is when they buy a new suitcase in Japan and leave their old one on the street or in the airport.

https://www.thisisinsider.com/seungri-bang-bang-joon-young-k-pop-prostitutes-porn-drugs-scandal-2019-3
"Korea's K-Pop scene is going through a sex, drugs, and pornography scandal that has lowered the bar even by the genre's infamously dismal standards.
K-Pop has a 30-year history of serious wrongdoings, including allegations of sex-tape blackmailing, affairs, secret marriages, suicide, drugs, and physical abuse."
Sounds like a "k-pop" problem.

Ok, I didn't know who bts was but I did a bit of research. From Sept 5 to 16 they had 7 concerts in America and sold 128,000 tickets. From Nov 13 to 24 they had 4 concerts in Japan and sold ... 380,000 tickets, but don't let facts get in your way, "LOL."

There's not much margin for error with that shot. The ball was off the ground and I'm under the impression a lot of Japanese players would have missed that shot. Well done, Honda. As for his appearance, it is speculated that Honda has / had Basedow (Graves) disease.

I wouldn't consider him "just another Todai grad." He has worked with the government in the past, is a member on many boards, and has many connections inside Japan and abroad.
