Salford United merely got lucky that they didn't have to face a Brazilian team.......You mean like Palmeiras? Do some research before posting.

What's up with watching the game on the telly?

He doesn't cheat. He gets lumps kicked out of him and, quite rightly, claims the fouls. Whichever way you want to look at it, he is targeted by the opposition. How does that saying go?.....If you can't get the man, get the ball.

United are the masters at the counter attack.Giggs and Scholes don't need pace. They have vision. The rest of the outfielders have youth & fitness and the icing on the cake is Ronnie.

Actually i dont think West Ham have ever won anything. Let alone even being able to qualify for the Champions League. They are a second rate team. Most J-League teams could probably beat them........beat em at wot?..bleaching their barnets?

West Ham have won the FA Cup three times: in 1964, 1975 and 1980. They have also been runners-up twice, in 1923 and 2006.

In 1965, they won the European Cup Winners Cup and in 1999 they won the Intertoto Cup

ihavearrived....It would be fairly difficult for Geoff Hurst and the lads to win the European Championship. Anyone who knows owt about footy will tell you that this is a tournament for national teams held every 4 years. The champions league winners take part in the World CLUB chamionship.

cleo............I'd like to see the scoffers on JT try to do the coppers' job. Most of them wouldn't last past a couple of shifts. Heck, most of them wouldn't even get through basic training.

Kindly enlighten us.How much training does it take to be able to sit on your butt in a police box all day guzzling green tea ?
