Who needs a watch these days? Clocks are everywhere I go. My phone shows the time and it's always on display on my laptop. Wristwatches are just expensive accessories. I haven't worn a watch for over 30 years and have never missed it.

I've been using this line for over 20yrs. The station is next to mine. It's absolutely all fenced off. Some areas have quite large areas between the barriers and the tracks. I suspect they mean that there was no barrier between the kid and the track which suggests he had already decided to trespass in a restricted area.

@John-San Strange reading of it. Couldn't the fact that two school friends were with the perp indicate they were actually the bullies and were up for it and celebrating? Not enough info and could be read either way. BTW. Why not give yourself the handle Sama rather than San...much cooler Japanese name.

HTF can you possibly have "post traumatic stress disorder" prior to anything. Post means after. Prior means before. The first paragraph makes no sense whatsoever

Found guilty. Convicted and sentenced. Immediately released on bail pending appeal. Proves no such thing as hostage justice in Japan...for some!

We all make mistakes when younger. We learn and move on. Comedy especially challenges boundaries. And doesn't neccesarily reflect true thinking. Could be irony or parody. But Mori's statement just last year exposed his real thinking! Why was he a guest at the opening ceremony? All window dressing. And bonus let's get a 'half' to light the flame. More window dressing

If somebody has already started a fire endangering many innocent people then runs at you with a knife, and you have already fired a warning shot. What's to debate? Feel for the officer. J police can be annoying pedantic at times. But very rarely use lethal force
