this would stop.

Publicity would be epic.

Poor people vote MAGA. Trump is just expanding his voter base.

Uneducated people also vote MAGA, which is why Trump is planning to defund the Dep of Education.

Thick, impoverished people ruled by autocratic billionaires is the MAGA dream

Ignorance personified, in one fell swoop, by yet another tolerant liberal:

Doesn't think like me, so it must be less than me.

The Dept. of Education has been given too much power, with no good result.

The states will decide, and therefore the constituents of that state, what will and what will not be taught at their schools, a direct result of the overreach displayed by the last administration attempting to turn parents into bystanders, while "wokeness" and all its derivatives became federally approved.

That time, is done.

It is natural for people to feel uncertainty or concerns about new vaccines, but Haraguchi’s series of remarks and actions as a lawmaker have gone beyond the bounds of acceptable opinion or commentary.

No, they haven't.

Much more needs to be said.

Side effects, injuries, turbo cancers,

sudden death, are not to be dismissed

as "beyond acceptable". Not when a company

selling said product, is set up to not be viable.

There should have been more done for these people who lost everything.

This old man probably dreaded going to live with his son as much as his son

dreaded him being there, but what were their options?

He lost everything, then his son lost his privacy, then the old man lost his life.

Too much loss.

There needs to be a sex offender registry in Japan,

Govt has no money to "hand-out".

If they "give" money, it's taken from somewhere (one) else.

Virtue signaling "grand" gestures don't fix the underlying problem.

Lower taxes, trim waste.

Sounds like the woman needed a break. Her call to 119 was a cry for help.

She’s no doubt in charge of 8 people’s meals, and general care of household, yet this “minion of propaganda” has the cheek to label her as “unemployed”.

When did this disrespectful shift denigrating

housewives to unemployed, truly take hold, around the time when they were prodded to work outside instead, and pay taxes?

Why are there less children in Japan?

THIS is your answer.

Posted in: Japan PM candidate Koizumi talks of change, but rivals could alter U.S. diplomacy See in context

Koizumi demonstrated his close relations with Washington in July when he spent a day surfing with the U.S. ambassador to Japan, Rahm Emanuel.

Great resume material.

"Among the current top three candidates, Koizumi would probably be the most favorable if the U.S. had a say," said Jeffrey Hornung, Japan Lead for the RAND National Security Research Division. "He is young, and he doesn't have the governing experience and so the easiest path is to move forward with what's already working."

This statement assumes a lot:

What currently is "already working", is.

It isn't.

He's also saying the quiet part out loud:

Has no experience, and is easily influenced.

IMO,

A Japan first, conservative thinker, with common sense ideas

rather than another globalist place holder, would serve Japan well.

Posted in: More than 95,000 Japanese aged over 100; most of them women See in context

Japan is facing a steadily worsening population crisis, as its expanding elderly population leads to soaring medical and welfare costs, with a shrinking labour force to pay for it.

This is assuming old people get free health care, when they’ve been paying into a system all their lives, with extra tack ons added after 60.

Working people are not paying entirely for the elderly, and making such a statement is emotional manipulation, creating resentment.

1 month old baby at home,

while the mother works, and the father is home?

Babies need their mothers at that age, for feeding, bonding,

and to establish a schedule.

I’m thinking this guy knew nothing about caring for a baby, and when it cried, as babies do, he had nothing to give it but anger and abuse.

A sad day when a mother must work outside rather than care for her newborn.

Not even 3 months old, the baby can’t yet even pick up its head. Ugh.

Despicable, this is no system for raising children.

Choosing a marriage partner when you have a child or children, needs to be a careful

process of observing how the prospective partner behaves and interacts with your children.

This story is horrible.

What kind of a hell has the mother created for her children, by choosing an abusive loser.

I hope both the little girl and her brother are cared for, free from the abusive and neglectful people who have failed them miserably.
